Ferrari to Build a New Model – affordable?

Rumor has it around the internet that Ferrari is preparing to develop a new entry level Ferrari to be placed under the F430. It’s supposed to be a 2+2 V8 hardtop convertible, and we should see it here in America in 2009, Europe gets it a bit earlier.

New Entry Level Ferrari

Some are saying the new Ferrari will be called the Dino, which happened to be one of the most beautiful Ferrari’s ever made (right behind the 360 Modena in my opinion.) I’m not quite sure where they are going with this, as Maserati is kind of an entry level Ferrari. Plus, I thought the 360/430 were supposed to be the entry level Ferrari’s. I say let Maserati handle the cheap(er) cars, Ferrari should stick with the current V8′s and above. Either way, I’m sure it will sell really well, as people with a smaller budget will be able to afford one. After all, that’s how Lamborghini sold the hell out of the Gallardo.

Whatever they do, I hope Ferrari doesn't make a car that looks like the one in the picture. I also don't think they should make an entry-level car; Ferrari is known for their high priced, exlusive automobiles, and I think they should keep it that way. And didn't Ferrari's design chief or something say that Ferrari would never make and entry level car?

Demonblade, I've never thought Lamborghini should make an entry-level car, but it turns out the Gallardo was their best selling car ever. I still don't like the Gallardo (as a Lambo,) I consider it just a high-end Audi. Lambo has always been about making high-end exclusive cars; I wish they would have kept it that way.
