2021 Ford F-150 Engines: This New Chart Has All The Important Specs

When the 2021 Ford F-150 hits the market this fall, six engines will be available, including a full hybrid option. The engine lineup includes some familiar favorites by now for the F-150, like the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 and the 5.0-liter V8. New for 2021, however, is the 3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6. 

Although horsepower and fuel economy figures are forthcoming, Ford says the PowerBoost hybrid has a 12,000 lbs. max towing capacity (when properly equipped) and a range of 700 miles on a full tank of fuel. Like every F-150 since the 2015 model year, the 2021 truck is also made from military-grade aluminum alloy.

In addition to the PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6, Active Drive Assist is one of the more compelling features for the 2021 Ford F-150. Ford says Active Drive Assist provides a genuine hands-off driving experience as the system holds the truck in its proper lane while keeping pace with surrounding traffic. Active Drive Assist is usable on 100,000 miles of compatible highways across the U.S. and Canada. For all intents and purposes, Active Drive Assist sounds quite similar to Cadillac Super Cruise

  1. I just found the link to the Pink Program that Ford HAD. Is any of this program still available? My wife had breast cancer and is still going thru reconstructive surgeries and I have had 2 types of cancer, both were cut out. Mine can probably be traced back to my 20 years in that other semi military organization (The Marines), when I did things that I thought were Fun or Needed to be done!

    My wife wants a Ford F-150 BAD, but we have been unable to get qualified to purchase one for almost a year. I am holding out for a 2021, but since we are both disabled she might need a a little assistance. This will probably be the last truck that we buy, so we want to buy the Best Truck and as much as we can afford.

    My current truck is a 1988 Ford Ranger 4×4 STX with around 400,000 miles on it. Our car is a 1981 Ford Crown Vic with over 200,000 miles on it And her car is a 2019 Buick Encore, which she desperately wants to get rid of. The salesman FIBBED to her and told her to bring it back in 6 months and she could trade it in on a more expensive model with most of what she had paid applied toward the new vehicle, if she wanted to. As you might guess, we don’t have anything done at Moore Buick, in Jacksonville, NC, that we don’t have to! What made it even worse was that she only owed about 6 months on the car that she was conned into trading in. We went back the next day, but were told that the car was gone, Which was false, because a maintenance person told us that it was so fully loaded that it took them 4 day’s to get rid of it.

  2. It’s interesting to know that there will be Ford diesel cars that are in automatic transmission set to be released soon. I’m planning to buy a diesel car soon solely for the fuel efficiency. I hope that I can find a diesel repair service within my city to make sure that I always have a place to go to when I need regular maintenance.
