Welcome to Automoblog.net Version 2.0!

old

That’s right, after a long four years, we’ve finally updated out busted old design and gave Automoblog.net a fresh new modern look.

So, what do you think!? The old design is up there on the left, compared with the new look on the right.

The changes are obvious, but here’s what it means to you:

The whole Automoblog.net brand has been redesigned, with a new logo and theme. It’s a more modern, European style text with modern colors and more of a focus on performance cars.

The home page is now more logically structured in a way to allow you to find what you’re looking for faster. The top of the home page shows a sliding “Featured Content” area that showcases our most recent or important content that we think you’ll find interesting.

On each page on the site now, you’ll find our main categories listed at the top along with a section to select any particular event, manufacturer, or car tuner to see news and reviews on just them. You’ll also find a search bar to the right of that which better allows you to find the content you’re looking for.

On the sidebar, you’ll see it’s now easier to subscribe to updates from us via email newsletter (we’ll never spam you or sell your address) or RSS feed. You can now also keep up with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr. Below that you’ll see our most popular articles as well as other selectable info for you to browse.

Another big change in the new version is the ability to reply to comments directly! Your comment, if you’re replying to another specific comment, will appear directly below the comment you’re replying to. This helps conversation for a specific topic.

There are plenty of other changes to the design, functionality, and backend of the website that will help the pages load faster for you, and we will constantly changing things for the better based on your feedback!

If you have any comments or suggestions about the new design, or notice any problems (I’m sure there are still some bugs to iron out,) please reply to this post or contact me via the Contact Page.

Thank you all for your continued support!
