The BMW M5 is a sports sedan and the high-performance version of the BMW 5 Series. When first introduced in 1985, the M5 was the fastest production sedan at that time. Even though mainly produced as a sedan, the BMW M5 was available as a wagon from 1992 to 1995 and from 2006 to 2010.
