The Infiniti Q30 Concept appeared at the 2013 International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany. This September, the first compact vehicle from Infiniti will return to Frankfurt for the official reveal.
Final dynamic testing and product validation is taking place across Europe. Development of the Infiniti Q30 happened at Infiniti’s Engineering Center in Cranfield, UK.
What is interesting is how the Infiniti Q30 was envisioned by the automaker. As explained by Infiniti Executive Design Director, Alfonso Albaisa, the Q30 combines “lust” and “logic.”
The idea is to capture attention with an emotional response, yet have a certain practicality.
And as life changes for the everyday consumer, the Infiniti Q30 meets that head on, but with a sense of rarity, redefining the segment in which it will ultimately compete.
