The 2016 Scion iM hatchback and iA sedan are arriving in more than 1,000 Scion dealerships.
These two models are targeted towards youth and tech savvy consumers who want the latest gadgets and apps in an attractive and affordable set of wheels.
The Scion iM has an MSRP of $18,460 for models equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and $19,200 for models equipped with CVT transmission. On the other hand, the Scion iA sedan has an MSRP of $15,700 when equipped with 6-speed manual transmission and $16,800 for models equipped with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Both of these prices do not include the $795 delivery, processing, and handling fees.

What’s New
Outside, the iM features a hexagon lower grille, sharp-eyed headlights, and sporty aero side bezels.
Inside, the iM comes fitted with standard features like a 7-inch Pioneer Audio Display unit with HD Radio and Aha music app, backup camera, dual-zone climate control, and Scion’s first 4.2-inch color TFT multi-information display.
Outside, the iA features a piano black front bumper treatment, chrome grille surround, and a spacious trunk.
Inside, the iA comes standard with keyless ignition/push-button start, low-speed Pre-collision system, backup camera, and 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system with voice recognition.
Performance
The 2016 Scion iM hatchback is powered by a 1.8 L 4-cylinder engine with Valvematic continuously variable valve timing technology. It produces a respectable 137 horsepower with a highway rating of 37 mpg.

The 2016 Scion iA sedan is powered by a quick-revving and high-compression, 1.5 L 4-cylinder engine which produces 106 horsepower. The EPA rates the Scion iA’s highway fuel efficiency at 42 mpg.
