Barabus Sports Cars ltd. (renamed to Keating, presumably to not be confused with Brabus, the Mercedes and Maybach tuners,) have been working on a car with over 1000 horsepower for over 10 years.
It is said to reach 270 mph, and go from 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. It will be powered by a Twin-Turbo 6.0L V8, and is rumored to cost less than $500,000.

The car is set to be unveiled in London this week. When considering that the Bugatti Veyron costs over $1 million and barely pushes 1000hp, the price seems a bit unreasonable. Still, then again, the Hennessey Viper Venom has been doing it for years. Not to mention, the Venom costs less than $200,000.
The design is at least questionable. The front (pictured above) looks like a Lotus Elise, and the rear a Pagani Zonda:
