Sure, the Honda Accord is bullet-proof.
It’s also pretty comfortable.
But, it’s about as exciting…as a boiled egg.
However, if you’re an accountant, or high school math teacher. News of a new Honda Accord is probably pretty exciting.
So, here’s all the mouth-watering details.
The new Accord Coupe and Sedan received a mid-cycle update for 2011. To start, both models get a new grill, and a (slightly) more aggressive lower fascia.
Both cars also get a new trunk lid, and some new wheel designs.
(imagine the sound of crickets chirping)
Thanks to better aerodynamics, reduced engine friction, and revised transmission gearing, the 2011 Honda Accord now gets 1-3 more MPG’s.
On the inside, cars with Navigation get an integrated backup camera. The (automatic equipped) V6 Coupe gets paddle shifters. Oh! And, the climate control switchgear has been repositioned on the dash, to make it easier for the driver to reach!
All of these changes are quite sensible indeed. But, the 2011 Honda Accord is still about as interesting as a 2 hour documentary on the History of Vanilla.
