It’s amazing how Mugen turned a daily driver CR-Z into a bona fide street racing car. I had no idea that Mugen was started by the son of Honda’s founder; that’s very interesting. Mugen is huge in the import racing scene.

Wow, its nice to see the Fisker sell so well in the Netherlands. I used to live in Amsterdam during the 80′s and never saw any exotic cars there. Most people (including me and my family) took public transit or biked.

Does a cd player really weigh 5 lbs? I doubt it weighs that much. I am like you; I burn music to cd’s and listen to them in my car. I have a 6 disc cd changer. I have a 2003 car and it has no USB slot for ipod; it would cost a fortune to upgrade to play from a music player (its a Mercedes).

The ELR looks great – sort of a mix between the Cien and CTS Coupe. Let’s hope they make the interior and powertrain at least come close to matching its exterior appearance.

They’re making one that looks like it was inspired by the cien, but without the power – the 2014 ELR. I’m just hoping they’ll end up with an interior that is as luxurious, yet sleek, as the current CTS coupe. If they pull that off, power or not, I’ll probably buy it.

Like you, Tony, I am constantly burning cd’s to listen to in my car. Rarely do I listen to a store-bought cd because I like to edit out my least favorite songs, etc. I suppose I could survive with just a plug-in for my iPod in the car, but I’ll miss the good ‘ol days of burning cd’s. I use Lightscribe cd technology to make permanent cd covers and like giving them as gifts. God, I feel old.
