src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

In most places within North America, auto insurance represents one of the most costly ongoing expenses attached to automotive ownership. A monthly or annual cost that varies wildly between driver, we barely understand the number of factors affecting our individual insurance rate. Driver’s age, gender and history behind the wheel plays the key part in establishing what we need to pay in order to venture on roadways legally.

Besides the human factor, your chosen automobile also weighs on the determination for the insurance premium amount. While the calculations of auto insurance quotes differ between companies and policies, a car-insurance.com chart cited that the vehicle accounts for thirteen percent of a driver’s rate. When buying a new car, we assume that a 2012 Porsche 911′s sporty agility will drive car insurance coverage reasonably higher than a fuel-efficient economy car. As automotive consumers, we can assume (often with some certainty) that certain vehicles are high risk for collision. In the case of auto insurance companies, more scientific data collection assists in the conclusion of vehicle rates.

Founded in 1959 as a non-profit organization meant to study vehicle and drivers, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has spawned to cover an array of automotive safety-related topics including new car crash testing. In the 1970s, the IIHS created the Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI) designed specifically to collect and examine information on human as well as financial loss in automobile accidents. One aspect researched by the IIHS and HLDI is the insurance losses based on a specific vehicle. Among six different types of insurance (Collision, liability, comprehensive, personal injury, medical and bodily injury), the IIHS records the comparable losses of almost every popular newer vehicle.

For the most recent vehicle data based on 2008 to 2010 model year products, data showed that the Scion tC topped the list as the highest overall insurance loss. As an import sports vehicle, the Scion tC caters to younger, riskier group of drivers therefore leading to worse than average insurance loss. In addition, being a Japanese-built vehicle, the collision insurance costs would be understandably high for North American drivers. Since introduction, the Scion tC has been a rated in the overall top-five of the vehicle insurance loss list.

Other vehicles found on the highest insurance loss list between the 2008 and 2010 model years involves a mix of everyday, Luxury and performance. Below the Scion tC coupe on the IIHS list is the long wheelbase variant of the Mercedes Benz S-Class sedan, Mitsubishi Lancer (not specifically the Evolution model) and the Chevrolet Cobalt. While the Cobalt’s appearance on the list could also be cited for sizeable production numbers, the compact Chevrolet joins six of the top-ten highest loss vehicles targeted for the youth market.

On the other side of the insurance data, some of the lowest loss vehicles Subaru Outback wagon, Honda CR-V and the Ford F-150. While the presence a two-door sport compact car at the top of the IIHS list of highest insurance losses is not a surprise, two popular sports cars make an amusing stand on the lowest insurance loss chart. The Chevrolet Corvette and the Mazda MX-5 Miata present lower than average insurance loss data. Topping the list on the lowest insurance loss chart is the Smart ForTwo. From the collection of automobile types assembled on the lowest insurance loss list, it could be assumed sport cars like the Corvette and MX-5 Miata are driven with more care.

When identifying individual vehicles, the insurance loss data displays some interesting observations among vehicle categories. While the insurance loss numbers constructed by the IIHS and the HLDI reveals that many mid-sized sedans are less risky than smaller vehicles, there are several exceptions. For example, the Smart ForTwo, MINI Cooper Clubman and Volkswagen New Beetle all overcome the small car stigma to have lower insurance loss numbers. Perhaps reinforcing the sense many American automobile buyers maintained over the last decade, sport utility and crossover vehicles were rated favourably for insurance loss. Every SUV and crossover vehicle built from 2008 to 2010 model year achieved either average or under the auto insurance industry’s average for loss.

Blind to gender, driving experience or even location in the United States, vehicle insurance loss information collected by the IIHS and HLDI will definitely influence your next auto quote for a late model automobile.

Information source: Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

Related posts:

Purchasing Commercial Vehicle Insurance

Getting Insurance for your Collector Car

Auto Insurance by the Mile: Usage-Based Coverage

Automoblog.net - A Car Blog for Auto Enthusiasts

Turbocharged Scion FR-S Laps Laguna Seca

Car News

Scion

BRZ

FR-S

Scion FR-S

Subaru BRZ

Toyota 86

Toyota FT-86

When it comes to cars, we’re always looking ahead to the next thing. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

When it comes to cars, we’re always looking ahead to the next thing. Toyota and Subaru have been hard at work for the past few years on the new FR-S/BRZ sports car, and they didn’t want to answer many questions about future iterations.

Why? Because sometimes talking about future product too soon can depress sales. They just worked on this thing for a long time and don’t want to do that! The main question has primarily been about turbocharged/supercharged power from the car’s flat-four engine. The FR-S makes 197 horsepower and 151 pound feet of torque. Many want more power than that.

The current corporate line is that the FR-S is designed for simplicity and purity. We’ve heard lines about there not being enough room under hood for forced induction plumbing. Somehow we doubt that; you just know more power is in the works at some point…it has to be. A light sportscar with rear-wheel drive like the FR-S begs for more power.

Its no wonder then that Motor Trend reports a turbocharged FR-S was spotted around the track at Laguna Seca. In terms of a production version that doesn’t mean anything per se, but we’ve heard other reports that indicate a boosted FR-S is coming. The reason a turbo FR-S was spotted was likely because it was being tested by the Scion drift team – hence the ridiculous looking wing.

FR-S owners look to be a very mod-happy bunch; over at FT86Club there is a discussion going on about swapping headlights between the Toyota 86/ Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ. Apparently they are the same dimensions but have a different inner design. So while the FR-S launches sometime mid-year, you probably don’t have to wait long for extra power. There should be a thriving aftermarket for the FR-S that will be happy to oblige. We just want to know if Scion is working out a special warranty arrangement so these cars can be modded without voiding the factory warranty. That is a valid question….

Related posts:

Scion FR-S Concept Shows FT-86 A Step Closer to Production

Laguna Seca Need for Speed Shift Video and Nissan GT-R SpecV

Ferrari 250 GTOs Swarm Laguna Seca

Automoblog.net - A Car Blog for Auto Enthusiasts

Most Anticipated New Vehicles Coming in 2012

Car News

Chevy

Ford

List

Mitsubishi

Pininfarina

Scion

VW

2012 car list

2012 cars

2012 Chevrolet

2012 ford

2012 scion

2012 VW

Camaro ZL1

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

featured

Scion iQ

Volkswagen

Volkswagen Golf

Volkswagen Golf R

With a new year dawning in just a few more days, the choice of a new car could be a pending resolution. Presented with a wide variety of vehicle brands, model and types in 2011, the 2012 calendar guarantees customers will have even more to choose from at dealership lots. Impressive fuel economy, pint-sized performance and efficiently planned cargo space are some motivating factors behind the upcoming production vehicle offerings.

Thanks to the somewhat confusing nature of model year classifications by auto companies, some of the automobiles expected within the upcoming 12 months are actually labelled as 2013 cars. The following list of released or soon-to-be released products is some key vehicle prospects for 2012.

2013 Ford Escape

Despite the fact many automotive journalists would have deemed the current Ford Escape as a dated, truck-like compact utility vehicle, customers clambered for the versatile product ringing in 228,719 in sales up to November of 2011. Unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month, the all-new 2013 Ford Escape adapts more car-like design attributes with a curvier, aerodynamic outer structure. Powering what will be front and all-wheel drive versions will be a 2.5 liter inline-four cylinder or one of two optional EcoBoost engines. The 2-liter turbocharged and direct-injected EcoBoost boasts a horsepower total close to the predeceasing Escape. Ford Motor Company has chosen not to engineer a hybrid version of the 2013 Escape insisting the 1.6 liter EcoBoost engine provides high fuel efficiency without the expense of electric motors and batteries. Besides the engines, the 2013 Ford Escape will employ several other innovations including improved MyFord Touch and hands-free power tailgate.

Mitsubishi i

The Mitsubishi i have been sold in Japan as a gasoline-powered or electric model for several years; North American customers will only receive the electric powertrain model of the subcompact car. Measuring only 144.8 inches in length, the small stature if the 2012 Mitsubishi i balances comfort, safety and weight. In a marketplace that is becoming inundated with the electric or electric-assisted powertrains, the Mitsubishi i have one quality that could lure a few adopters to this zero emission driving craze. Mitsubishi is pricing the electric-powered i under $30,000 before a set $7,500 federal tax credit.

Ferrari FF

Classic elements merge with modern technology and expertise to craft the Ferrari FF. A 2+2 sports car bringing plenty of refreshing nuances to the Ferrari division, the all-new FF most astonishing feature is presented at a spot uncommon for exotic cars. Providing a more than adequate 15.9 cubic feet of cargo room with four passengers, this Ferrari features fold-down rear seats that opens up the interior cargo dimensions to 28.3 cubic feet. The Scion iQ comes standard equipped with a 1.3 liter four-cylinder engine generating 94 horsepower. Linked to a continuously variable transmission, Scion iQ fuel economy in the high 30s range is realistic. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

And so the micro-car wars begin. Here in the States, anyway. They’ve had city cars (as they call them) in Europe for decades, but only recently have they caught on in the States, as we push for cars with higher and higher MPGs. Hybrids have been around for a while, but they’re expensive, boring, and frankly, usually don’t provide much of a benefit in the long run. They’re more of a temporary solution. EVs still have a long way to go, and diesel cars still have a while to catch on over here too (for reasons I don’t understand.)

So along comes Smart. A quirky little sub-brand of Mercedes that makes these micro-subcompacts (this segment’s official classification.) Americans seemed to take to them pretty well, filling a small niche sitting below subcompacts like the Toyota Yaris. Italian brand Fiat saw what was going on and brought over their 500 micro-subcompact in 2010, selling a decent amount, judging by how many I see on the road. Seeing room to give Americans another, cooler option, Toyota decides their few-years-old (in Europe) iQ micro-car could be brought over here, but they’ll sell it as a Scion and market it to young urbanites who regularly deal with tight parallel parking and narrow roads.

As the new Scion iQ (Scion’s fourth model) launches in the States, Scion invited some of us down to Palm Beach, FL to listen to them talk about it and take one for a spin. After a grueling first day full of delays, spending just under 12 hours either in the airport or plane (meaning from Raleigh, NC I could have driven there faster,) I grabbed a $16 patty melt and $14 martini (it is Palm Beach) for dinner from the hotel restaurant and was out like a light within the hour. After breakfast, we sat through a product presentation, then stepped outside to the 11 iQs they had lined up to see what the car is all about.

The iQ is strikingly small (it is a micro-car after all.) Wheelbase and body length are so close it’s scary, with the front and rear fascias ending only a few inches after the tires. Total length of the body: 10.1 ft – shorter than Fiat, but a foot or so longer than the Smart. To make up for some of that, it’s 5.5 ft wide (wider than both,) which shows when viewing the car from the rear:

It’s a cool-looking car, fitting right along with Scion’s youth-oriented design philosophy. Somehow, it avoids that awkward “smooshed” look its dimensions would suggest, and replaces it with a bit of aggression thanks to its wide stance and slick design.

Engineers of the iQ worked overtime maximizing interior volume, moving the compact A/C unit behind the center stack, giving the car an asymmetrical seating layout with the front passenger sitting slightly ahead of the driver. It gives the iQ a 3+1 seating arrangement, meaning it’s got room for three adults and an infant or amputee. Other space-saving techniques they used was using slim seatbacks, placing the 8.5-gallon fuel tank underneath the driver and right-rear passenger, and using a high-mount rack-and-pinion electric power assist steering setup. Fitting anything larger than a couple bags of Oreos behind the rear seats would be a feat, so they fold down 50/50-style with a “trunk mat” already attached to their backs, bringing cargo room up from a whopping 3.5 cubic feet to a useable 16.7.

My chubby 6’4″ frame fits into it without any awkward contorting or adjusting. The driver’s seat goes all the way back for me and touches against the front of the rear seat. More like a 3+0 if anyone over 5’6″ tall is driving. The car’s 4.9 ft height gives me a few welcome inches of headroom. The sporty flat-bottomed steering wheel tilts but doesn’t telescope, and comes standard with red stitching and audio controls. Sitting shotgun gets you some extra room to stretch out with the seat back and forgoes a typical glove box with a cheap-feeling plastic drawer under the seat. A single cup holder in the center console, one in each door, and a small cubby under the center stack provide the only other storage up front. Inside that cubby is a single 12V power outlet for accessories. In a car meant for the youngins, it really should have at least two, what with their music players and navigation screens, and Pac-Man video games. A standard auxiliary and USB input give you the ability to hook those MP3 players up to one of the iQ’s three head units. The iQ’s extra width is more than welcome, keeping occupants from getting that tiny-car claustrophobic feeling, seating more like the Corolla. I’d go so far as to say it feels almost spacious up front.

But the real question is how does the little guy drive? Not how you’d expect a car this size to drive. That is to say it’s competent and stable at speed, and reaching 80 mph on the highway doesn’t scare the crap of you. Taking turns a bit too fast doesn’t feel like you’ll tip over, either, thanks mostly to the width of the car and lowered center of gravity. Maneuvering is quick and precise, as you’d expect, and parking is easy. With a turning circle just shy of 13 ft, driving in tight circles feels like the car is pivoting on the rear wheel. The iQ’s 1.3-liter engine only puts out 94 horsepower, but it’s also only carrying 2,127 lbs, plus you. It’s no Aston Martin, but it’s responsive and has plenty of kick for most needs. The Scion iQ is only going to be available with a Continuously-Variable Transmission (CVT) – unfortunately there won’t be a manual gearbox option. The CVT isn’t bad (and I normally hate CVTs,) but I’d still like to see it with an available stick. My only other complaint about the driving itself is the steering’s numbness and lack of feedback. Oh, and cruise control isn’t available. At all. Yeah.

The combination of the tiny engine, efficient transmission, and light weight allow the iQ to get 36 mpg in the city and 37 on the highway – that’s getting into hybrid territory for much less money. The 2012 Scion iQ is $15,995, including delivery, and since Scion is monospec (no trim levels or packages,) it comes well-equipped and your only extra cost will be any accessories or changes.

The 2012 iQ is available in the western states now, and on-sale dates for the rest of the country are expected in the first quarter of 2012.

Before You Buy

The Scion iQ’s main competitors are the Smart forTwo and Fiat 500, with the Mini Cooper being considered a solid “ehh…maybe.” Scroll down for a big photo gallery.

Let dealers One of the most striking examples of it happening lately has been with Aston Martin and Toyota. Many have questioned if the Cygnet minicar is a real Aston Martin, and the answer is no it definitely isn’t.

Aston Martin didn’t branch out on its own to develop the Cygnet by itself; it partnered with Toyota to make use of its iQ minicar. While there are some styling differences between the iQ and Cygnet, they are still basically the same car.

The iQ is sold as a Toyota globally, but here in the United States Toyota is choosing to sell it under its youth-oriented Scion brand. Scion is also the brand Toyota selected to sell the rear-wheel drive “FR-S” (the final production name hasn’t been decided) sportscar developed in partnership with Subaru.

Minicars haven’t done well in the U.S in the past, but that isn’t stopping Scion from giving it a try. Pricing for the iQ has just been released and according to Autoblog it starts at $15,995. The car’s U.S sale has been delayed to due to issues regarding the Japanese tsunami and earthquake. However, the iQ first hit West Coast Scion dealers this October. Launch will slowly spread across the country from there, stretching into next year.

The Midwest, where trucks rule, will unsurprisingly be the last to get the car. Scion is hoping the iQ will gain a following in the youth market, and plans for the car to be well-equipped at its base price. One cool feature on is integration with music streaming service Pandora.

High-end models will have a navigation system available – we wonder how high the iQ will be able to be optioned out. That $15,995 base price is a bit above competitors like the Fiat 500 – and if you ask us, we’d definitely choose that over the iQ.

UPDATE: 2012 Scion iQ Review

Related posts:

Aston Martin Cygnet Concept

Aston Martin Unveils Cygnet Concept – A Mini-Luxury Car

2010 Scion xB Release Series 7.0

Automoblog.net - A Car Blog for Auto Enthusiasts

The High Voltage 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0

Car News

Scion

Toyota

2012 cars

2012 Scion tC

Scion Release Series

Scion tC Release Series 7.0

tC Release Series

Seeded by the smartphone and tablet market, a consumer’s desire to personalize our possessions has been taken to a new level. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

Seeded by the smartphone and tablet market, a consumer’s desire to personalize our possessions has been taken to a new level. Even as the modern automobile have successfully scared individuals from modifying new vehicles in fears of interfering with electronic or voiding warranties, auto manufacturers have given some desirable whimsy. The Scion division of Toyota Motor Corporation has defined themselves with extensive factory or dealer customization of new car purchasers. Along with giving a healthy assortment of wheels, body kits and interior trim add-ons, Scion has highlighted their expressionism in a limited edition run each year called the Release Series. For the 2012 model year, the Scion brand continues their tradition with the tC Release Series 7.0 coupe.

The 7th year for seeing the two-door Scion tC undergoing the Release Series treatment, the 2012 model year continues to uphold the expectations for a spectacular presentation. Radiant in High Voltage yellow, the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0 colour provides the sport compact look fitting to this sharp coupe. Matching the exterior colour, a TRD body kit trims is attached to the lower section of the Scion tC. Contrasting the bright High Voltage yellow, the Scion tC Release Series 7.0 has touches of black found on the vehicle’s front honeycomb grille, mirrors, and wheels. Wearing 18-inch alloy numbers, the dark-painted wheels on the 2012 tC Release Series 7.0 adds a racy look to the lower riding compact car.

The marriage of yellow and black is continued inside of the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0 within the pattern for the seating fabric. Yellow stitching is used incorporated on the special edition vehicle’s leather-wrapped steering wheel. On the tC Release Series 7.0, two technological touches have been added by Scion. For the first time on a Scion product, the Toyota Smart Key system now needs the motorist to simply grab the door handle to enter the previously locked car. For more assertive starting, a red push button starter works in conjunction with the Smart Key system. The second treat of technology inside the 2012 Scion tC Release Series 7.0 is an upgraded stereo system. Sourced from Pioneer, the standard 300-watt output audio system includes HD radio, CD player and all connections for iPod and other portable music devices.

For a more robust audio experience inside the 2012 tC Release Series 7.0 there is an available Pioneer Premium Audio System controlled through a 5.8-inch LCD touch-screen. The optional premium sound system adds iTunes tagging as well as the wide selection of internet radio through the Pandora service. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

Through the early months of 2011, the latest and best visions of the second century of the automobile were displayed inside stadiums or convention centers in North America. Within the climate-control environments where the only threatening element is the oil through human contact on vehicle surfaces, cars and trucks have little trouble looking presentable through the shine of strong fluorescent lighting. However, seeing an automobile so properly exhibited inside is certainly a case of seeing a creature out of its natural habitat. Advertised as the largest outdoor auto show in North American, the 2011 Georgian College Auto Show opened this past Friday bringing vehicles from 17 car brands to the grounds of a Barrie, Ontario college campus.

For myself (a car enthusiast), relishing to make valuable use of every moment at a grand exhibit for the complex but harmonious automobile. For only $7 Canadian, my entry into the 2011 edition of the auto show (an event I have attended every year since 1997) was granted on a perfect warm, sunny day. Rescheduled from its long-held fall date to a June event coinciding with the bloom occurring in nature, the 2011 Georgian College Auto Show where my senses were rewarded by a wide assortment of marvellous, new automobiles. This year’s Georgian College Auto Show featured vehicles included many of the new products already seen through the prior indoor auto show circuit. The Nissan Leaf, Toyota Prius v and the Chevrolet Camaro convertible were a few showcase cars presented in low-key manner to great effect.

Avid readers of Automoblog.net would already have a clue about the Georgian College Auto Show after my coverage last fall. For new visitors, this outdoor Canadian auto show is a family-friendly weekend event that also serves a purpose in educating the newest crop of automotive sales and marketing professionals. Like every year, I’ve had an opportunity to share the company of people who embody knowledge and drive (a perfect characteristic to possess for the auto industry). I had nothing but pleasant experiences from people who are not simply taught how to sell a potential buyer a car they cannot afford with loan and lease structures. They were personable, friendly and often helped me acquire some great images. At the Chrysler tent, one brand representative did inform me he has been constantly accommodating requests of dropping and raising the hood on a Dodge Challenger SRT8 392. I spent roughly five minutes alone with the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 gripping the steering wheel seated in the two-tone leather. I imagine one secret to selling an item is simply allowing the consumer to generate his or her own desire to a critical mass. As like every auto show I visit, I leave wanting so many automobiles.

While I saw cars like the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 at the 2011 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto this past February, the Georgian College exhibition of vehicles gave me a chance to absorb the automotive beauty without a rush. Even though I attended the Toronto show on a Media Day limited to mostly other media outlets, I feel myself having my respect and passion for the newest car unveiling getting conflicted by a near predatorily instincts. Please don’t get me confused, I have absolutely no distaste for my media colleagues (in fact I wish to enjoy more fluid interaction with through as I continue my automotive coverage), Media Day’s meaning becomes slanted to getting the first pictures in a rather static display. Through an automotive press source The Garage Blog, it was reported at the New York Auto Show that a Media Day turned ugly when reporters arguing over a computer station turned into a physical brawl. Maybe it is the fresh air or the removal of the blah of winter that preserves the 2011 Georgian College Auto Show as a large but polite gathering.

A reward to my senses, I’ve found the sensation of touch was most relished on this day. Opening the doors of so many of the vehicles such as the MINI Countryman and Lincoln MKS, the feel of my hand around the contoured door handles gave an introductory tactile experience to each car. Once inside, a more unusual sensations came as I sat in the driver seat of the new Nissan Quest minivan (or should that is called a macro-minivan?). As I back into the driver’s seat, the supporting comfort reminded me of a living room chair. Nissan calls the seating inside of the Quest as ‘low-fatigue’.

In a conversely unique sensation as I divert myself from the Nissan Quest minivan, a Scion tC presented another refreshing comfort feel. Fitted with special Scion leather seating (almost a $2,000 option on the Canadian tC model, the model at the 2011 Georgian College Auto Show had the assuring solace of a luxury car. This feeling inside the sport compact car was more than I would have expected from an under $25,000 vehicle. However, the unexpected is one of the things that make these auto shows compelling.

Though some of the surprises presented at the 2011 Georgian College Auto Show included the appearance of sharply coloured Audi R8 Spyder and two classic DeLoreans, there was also the astounding absence in one of the luxury car exhibits. While BMW display featured a high-performance M3 coupe, the tent of German brand rival Mercedes-Benz AMG line-up. Even the brand ambassador admitted some disappointment that Mercedes-Benz did not send any AMG models to the Georgian College Auto Show. Instead, the showcase of the Mercedes-Benz tent was a charming white E350 coupe.

Though the 2011 Georgian College Auto Show does not present the automotive pageantry and theatrics found in major cities such as Paris, Geneva or Detroit, this gathering of four-wheeled (and those two-wheeled creations) is a site where the spirit of motoring is meant for the people at the show. Motivated by a future career or simply the desire to reconnect with a love for automobiles, the Georgian College Auto Show again is united in the fostering of such a great human creation.

Photo It is a vehicle we’ve known before as the Toyota FT-86 Concept.

The FT-86 Concept was a result of Toyota’s slipping consideration in the the youth market. This problem led to Toyota head Akio Toyoda creating a plan to produce more sporty cars that would help inject excitement into the company. The aim is to bring back a fun-to-drive nature, and the effort is being kicked off with this car.

The FT-86 Concept was first shown at the Tokyo Auto Show in 2009. We’ve been hearing rumors of these vehicles for sometime before that too – this product line has had a long gestation period.

Just in case you didn’t learn it by now, Toyota really wants to make sure you know this car is rear-wheel drive. FR-S stands for front-engined rear-wheel drive and sport. The “concept” moniker is really just in name only, as Scion itself says it previews the production model coming to the lineup in 2012.

The FR-S Concept builds on the styling of the FT-86 Concept, bringing it a step closer to production. The good news is that it has gotten hotter since we’ve last seen it. A stunning Toyota product, imagine that! The proportions are perfect, with an aggressive stance that looks the performance part.

The company says the front end of the design is meant to evoke the Toyota 2000GT, and around the rear we can see strong design influences from the Lexus LFA performance flagship.

As the car was developed in partnership with Subaru, the engine used is a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated boxer four-cylinder. The lightweight nature of the engine and compact footprint leads to a low hood and placement in the chassis is also ideal. The engine is positioned farther aft than usual for optimal weight distribution. All indications lead to an excellent driving experience for this car. We can’t wait to get our hands on it.

The real clincher is the price tag, which is expected to come in around the $20,000 range. The FR-S does confirms the car isn’t coming to the Toyota brand. There has been speculation on whether the car would be launched as a Toyota or Scion in the United States. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

Back in November, I published a preview of the 2011 Scion tC from a media event Scion held, concluding that the all-new tC is an evolution for the better, offering more power, more economy, more room, a more modern feel, and an overall better drive. I was impressed as a whole, but media events – as useful as they are – only give us a couple of hours allocated to drive and evaluation. That’s enough to form a decent opinion of a car, but this time we get it for a week – long enough to determine how the car performs on a daily basis under various everyday conditions. Sometimes that’s enough to turn a car you like into an irritating tin box full unbearable quirks. So has the updated 2011 Scion tC gone the route of friend-turned-roommate-turned-ex-friend?

First, let’s talk about what’s changed. When Scion introduced the tC back in 2004, it was more successful than they expected. They sold tons of them to an incredibly lucrative market – mostly young guys, 26 years old on average, most of which were completely new to the Toyota family – exactly who they were going after. But year after year, more females began to buy the car. Not that they were turning down sales, of course, but the tC was supposed to be a “dude’s car,” and they didn’t want to get that “chick car” image. Plus, more guys than gals tend to buy manual transmissions and purchase upgrades and extras with the car, which is a huge source of extra revenue for them.

“Let’s win back the fellas,” Scion said, and out popped the all-new 2011 tC. On the surface, the car is more muscular and aggressive. “Sleek” is no longer how I’d describe this car, and “pretty” hadn’t even crossed my mind. It is cool-looking though, and based on looks alone, it would win any arm-wrestling competition with its current competitors. A boxier shape comes through thanks to the flat-top meant to give rear seat passengers more headroom. The front-end looks good and keeps the only resemblance to the sleekness of the old car. The tail lights look like they accidentally got sunk into the awkwardly blunt rear-end. It’s safe to say I don’t like how the new tC looks compared to the old one, but looks aren’t everything, are they?

Any update to a car that promises more power and less fuel-consumption is well-received, and the 2011 tC doesn’t disappoint. A new, larger 2.5-liter engine provides 180 horsepower (up from 161 last year) and 173 lb-ft of torque (up from 162.) It’s good, because the tC (desperately) needed a bump in power. Even with the larger engine, they managed to eek out a combined 26 mpg, which is above the old car’s 24 mpg. Still not a great number, but it’s progress. 60 mph from a stop can be expected in 7.6 seconds in the manual transmission, which is what you should buy. The sluggish automatic manages the same trip in 8.3 seconds. Additional performance over the previous generation comes in the form of a new, sportier suspension, wider track, and bigger brakes.

To get a better idea of how the new tC compares to the first generation, who better to ask than someone who owns one? Meet Aaron – owner of a 2006 Scion tC. Let’s see what Aaron has to say about the 2011 version:

I own a previous generation (2006) Scion tC and being a more mature auto enthusiast for the Scion brand (30 years old) I would have to say that the new 2011 tC has missed its mark on me. I have read that the engine and interior materials used are much better and that the car has matured well into a better all-around package but I would have to disagree with the “matured” statement completely. The tC went from being a funky/sporty hatchback that appealed to young men and women alike to a busy boy-racer only car.

Everything I appreciated about the previous generation’s clean dash and console is completely ruined on the new car. The model we tested had the integrated Nav and though the addition of a Nav is a feature the previous model certainly could have used, it’s a long way from being truly “integrated.” The raised radio/nav panel makes the unit actually appear to be a poorly fitted after-market piece and if it wasn’t for the Scion branding I would have assumed as much. Non-uniform openings and contours in the new center stack also add to a busy and confusing look for the dash. The fatter-than-BMW flat-bottomed steering wheel is another laughable addition that others seem to rave about and though it may be an interesting design piece at first glance, the old steering wheel felt right for the car. I’m sure if I were to track the tC on the weekend, it would be a greatly appreciated addition however the steering wheel just doesn’t feel right for the car’s intended purpose – daily commuting.

The updated look of the car isn’t bad at all. I like the blacked-out A-pillar as well as the overall profile. The front-end is missing that snub-nosed look that I really enjoyed about the previous generation and the rear-end isn’t memorable or unique but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s ugly. Overall comparing the new tC to the previous generation leaves me feeling a bit left out as this car was certainly designed with the younger enthusiast in mind. My replacement for our 2006 tC will definitely not be a 2011 version.

In regards to the interior, Aaron makes some very good points. Although I’m impressed with the overall improvement in quality and materials, the new center panel is much busier than before. The upgraded audio/nav does look like poorly-fitted aftermarket unit, but if you don’t mind the looks, it’s a very good system. The standard audio system is an excellent 8-speaker, 300-watt setup with standard USB and auxiliary jacks and iPod integration. If you want more, feel free to upgrade to a 340-watt Alpine unit or your choice of two navigation systems (one full-size and one smaller version.) I like the new, thicker steering wheel with flat bottom, even if it’s a bit gimmicky. Steering-wheel audio controls are standard, but look a bit dated. The new interior design is more logical and functional, but Scion buyers are looking for function AND style. It could use some work.

Given that it’s a compact car, it has an incredible amount of room. Rear seat passengers will be surprised at how much leg- and head-room they have (thanks to that extended roof,) and if they want more, just have them recline the seats – they lean back up to 45 degrees. The usual 2-door coupe curse – rear seat passengers having to squeeze in and out uncomfortably – is partially remedied by the long doors, but that causes another problem: they’re really long, so it’s difficult to not whack the car in the parking space next to you when opening them up.

Being Scion, you’re given a nice choice of accessories to choose from at the dealer. All optional: four-piece body kit, spoiler, fog lights, carbon fiber B-pillar, seven-color interior lighting, illuminated door sills, and 19-inch TRD wheels (18-inch alloys are standard.) If you’re looking for more performance, check out the sway bars, big brake kit, upgraded exhaust, lowering springs, and “quickshifter” kit.

All-in-all, the new 2011 Scion tC is a step in the right direction. Although it lacks the sleek and sexy feel of the first tC, it’s more powerful, more fuel-efficient, higher quality, has more standard equipment, and is a good drive. My problem with the car, aside from the lumpy exterior, is that nothing stands out about it. It makes all the right logical moves, but doesn’t have as much personality as the old tC or some of the other cars in its class. Regardless, it’s worth checking out if you need a sporty, cool, inexpensive hatchback with gobs of room inside. The 2011 Scion tC starts at $18,275 with a manual transmission and $19,275 for the automatic.

Before You Buy

Let dealers compete for your business and have the upper hand in negotiations What does Scion have in store for this one?

First up, and perhaps most obvious is an all new color, something Scion calls “Voodoo Blue.” It doesn’t have quite the depth of the “Speedway Blue” found on the recent Scion tC RS 6.0, but looks really good. Wearing the new color is an all-around body kit styled by Kenstyle, who has done the RS body kits for Scion in the past. In addition to the Kenstyle logo shamelessly placed behind the front wheel well, the body kit gets a front, rear lower valance, and side skirts. An optional rear spoiler is also available for $320.

Inside, you’ll get color-matched everything, including a black fabric with blue highlights seating surface, RS logo floor and cargo mats, and a cool new illuminated numbered badge – that’s a first for me. You’ll also get a power tilt & slide sunroof as standard.

As usual, only 2,000 xB RS 8.0s will be produced, and start at $18,405 for a standard transmission. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

In the early 2000s, Toyota’s demographic was quite a bit older than industry average, and the Lexus brand only made their typical customer even more mature. In an attempt to capture a younger crowd, the Scion brand was launched in 2003. The xB came first, nothing but a funky box on wheels, then came the xA – a reincarnation of the Toyota Matrix 3-door hatchback. In 2004, Scion introduced the tC – a reliable, cool, 2-door sporty coupe that proved style and practicality could go hand in hand.

And the damn things sold like hotcakes. There are more than 310,000 tCs on the road today, which accounts for 41% of all Scions. That includes the newer xD and recently restyled xB. Who’s buying them? The youngest buyers in the industry, according to Scion. Their average customer is a 26 year-old male, 70% of which were new to the Toyota brand. Looks like creating the Scion brand was a home run move for Toyota.

But since its introduction in 2003, the tC sports coupe hasn’t changed at all, save for a few special editions here and there. And even though the traditional buyer for the sporty coupe was traditionally male, there’s been a gender shift over the seven-year lifespan of the car. Now, you’ll see significantly more dames in the tC’s driver seat.

Not wanting the tC to get labeled a “chick car,” Scion decided it’s time to change things.

For 2011, the tC has been completely revamped. To prove they’re trying to get the dudes back, the 2011 tC’s press release is laden with words like “aggressive,” “bold,” “masculine,” and “robust.” Styling-wise, that’s definitely the case. With a noticeable resemblance to the god-awful Scion FUSE concept from a few years back, I don’t think the 2011 tC looks quite as good as the current model, but there’s no arguing that it has a more aggressive appearance.

Under the hood where it really counts, the new tC delivers what the old one lacked: power. The bigger 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine’s output is up to 180 hp and 173 lb-ft of torque – up 19 and 11, respectively. While not a huge jump in numbers by any stretch, it’s a noticeable difference while driving. In the tC’s case, with more power comes better fuel economy. You’ll get 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway regardless of your choice in transmissions – a six-speed manual or automatic. I drove the manual tranny and found it to be surprisingly smooth and easy to drive. Scion says 30% of tC buyers will choose the stick, let’s hope it’s more than that. If you do choose the manual, expect a 0-60 mph time of 7.6 seconds. Wimp out and choose the auto and you’ll only hit 60 from a stop in a leisurely 8.3 seconds.

Aside from the bigger engine, the 2011 tC gets infused with more performance from a new sport-tuned suspension, wider track, standard 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in wider tires, and bigger brakes. Tuners, of course, will have a crapload of aftermarket performance parts to choose from, including a big brake kit, short throw shifter, 19-inch wheels, sway bars, and a new exhaust system. Although I don’t believe any front-wheel-drive car can be called a real sports car, the tC has sporty intentions, and pulls it off quite well.

Inside, both driver and front passenger get 1-inch wider and more supportive seats for noticeably more room, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, new instruments and modern interior, a thicker flat-bottomed steering wheel, and of course, they kept the tC’s signature panoramic glass moonroof. Rear seat passengers get more legroom and the ability to recline their seats just a bit. Seeing as how this car is meant for a younger crowd, Scion also gave the car a standard 300-watt, 8-speaker high-end audio system with a USB port. To give you more choice, you can choose from three head units, including a touch-screen navigation system. Bluetooth, for some reason, is not standard. Parents: each new tC will also have Toyota’s Star Safety System.

In traditional Scion fashion, you’ll have a huge choice of accessories and upgrades to choose from. Count on performance upgrades, body kits, carbon fiber accents, interior lighting kits, vinyl body graphics, and so forth. In the coming years, also expect Scion’s traditional Release Series special editions in limited numbers.

I’m not crazy about the new styling, but everything else about the second-generation tC is better. It’s faster, more economical, more spacious, more modern, and better to drive. The 2011 tC starts at $18,275 with a standard transmission and $19,275 for the slower automatic gearbox. 2011 tCs are at your local dealer now, so if you’re in the mood for a sporty four-seater coupe, the tC is a good choice. For the 2010 SEMA Show, Toyota and their younger, hipper Scion brand want to spice up their overall presence in the motoring landscape.

Viewed as a party on wheels or the go-between to the party, lavish, long stretch limousines exist as one of the most extreme vehicles seen on roadways. According to TLPA (Taxicab, Limousine and Paratransit Association) there are approximately 45,000 stretched limousines in active service throughout the United States born from the images of luxury sedans and sport utility vehicles. Largely in the North America, domestic automobile companies have furnished the bulk of stretch limo requests with the outgoing Lincoln Town Car being a key workhorse for the industry.

Of the many design concepts being shown by the Japanese-bred auto manufacturer, two vehicles developed provides an interesting solution to the stretched limousine saga.

Toyota Sienna Swagger Wagon Supreme

<script type="text/javascript"

Shaved door handles on the automatic sliding doors, chrome exhaust tips, rear spoiler and 20 inch KMC chrome wheels inside Nitto tires. The Sienna Swagger Wagon Supreme is covered by a special Blue Swagger Opal paint applied after consultations with users of Facebook.

Embracing the stretched limo concept, the interior of this modified Sienna van amusingly holds true to the family vehicle ideals. Called project “All Stretched Out” under the direction of Jeremy Lookofsky, the completed product features upgrades throughout the design over the base xB.

The Scion xB All Stretched Out greets with its two-tone paint scheme (Onyx Black combined with a basic red ) over custom metal fabrication and side skirt rocker panels. Handcrafted pinstriping was skillfully laid separating the colour tones of the modified xB body. Situated on a reengineered suspension making use of a Cartel Air Bag setup, the xB All Stretched Out concept rolls on Toyo tires between 20-inch Demoda Aviator wheels.

Sharp non-limousine handling gained through suspension enhancements are maximized with some power gains by the Scion xB All Stretched Out. Adding an AEM air intake, a ACT clutch and STRUP Performance Headers channeled through a straight exhaust welcomes a modest improvement in forward motion.

Opening up an 80-inch wide entrance through rear suicide doors, the xB cabin employs comfort and luxury. A Coach Black Leather J Couch and a custom bar are the primary items found inside. An acrylic headliner and touch activated lighting gives the Scion the feel of the VIP Suite. An Alpine 2,600 Watt Entertainment and Information System pumps enjoyment through a total of 12 speakers.

Both vehicles were definitely meant as a tongue and check expression of Toyota vehicles. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

Only one week from now, the doors opens to the much-anticipated Paris Motor Show revealing the next crop of vehicles slated for introduction to various world markets. Roughly 6,000 miles away in a small Canadian city named Barrie, the new generation of automotive sales and marketing personnel is receiving lessons on promoting the latest crop of motoring innovation.

Expected to possess intuition, attentiveness as well as the dedicated knowledge of their chosen brand’s product, Georgian College devoted a large part of their institution schooling students in the automotive business. Adding legitimacy to a profession which has been affiliated with a fair share of unethical characters, students within the Canadian Automotive Institute (CAI) are given the annual Georgian College Auto Show as the showcase of their acquired knowledge from business and marketing programs. Operating as brand representatives for many of the major automotive brands of North America, the duties of the Georgian College CAI students droves deeper into the entire workings of each show meaning they are practically the driving force of this three-day event. Celebrating it’s 25th anniversary, the 2010 Georgian College Auto Show had these college students in charge of at least 100 brand new vehicles.

As an observer of an auto show with a $7 admission, you’ll enjoy a hassle-free, sales-free environment offering a chance to sample a new car, truck or SUV/crossover without the fear it might end at a office desk looking over a car loan or lease agreement. An admittedly small exhibition, the Georgian College Auto Show does provide a detailed representations of current and future automotive trends. The 2010 edition of the auto show had a collection of new releases to the automotive marketplace including the new Nissan Juke, the 2011 Honda Odyssey, the redesigned BMW 5-Series sedan and the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze.

In a massive Ford display, three Ford Fiestas, several Super Duty pick up, a 2011 Ford Edge, and a 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 offered one of the most exciting interactions of this 2010 show. All vehicles but the Shelby GT500 were open for visitors to sit in and touch throughout the weekend. Providing an interesting cross-section of the buying attitudes of modern motorists, an equal amount of attention by attendees centered on the new Fiestas as well as on the brand new, rethought 2011 Ford Explorer.

Toyota also had a bullish effort at the 2010 Georgian Auto Show showing off their just recently introduced (and most recently profiled on Automoblog.net) 2011 Toyota Highlanders in both gas or hybrid form. Brought to Canada this year, Toyota’s youth-based brand Scion made their first appearance at this auto show. Unveiling their cars to the Barrie area, the cars looked fantastic but the brand representatives of Scion had a less than ideal placement of their vehicles. Raining days prior to the show, campus’ grass field was downright soggy in areas with the Scion tent setup on muddy turf for Friday. As the show must go on, a few of the vehicles were over wooden boards so the brand’s four-car display could make the Georgian College Auto Show debut.

The Georgian College Auto Show has not been shielded from the troubles of the automotive industry. Because of the bankruptcy filing in 2009, Chrysler didn’t even have a display at last year’s show. In past auto shows Chrysler was known for bringing a concept vehicles showing the future the company wanted to once create for itself. Reemerging this year under the partnership with Fiat, the Chrysler Group returned to the 2010 auto show. Back in a big way, crowds loved the Dodge Challenger and the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee highlighting the work of Chrysler.

Though some amazing vehicles were present at this year’s Georgian College Auto Show, the vehicle crop is not as incredibly ripe as in previous years. While Ford brought their A-game as did Toyota, BMW and Mercedes-Benz tents were missing representatives of their high-performance tuner divisions. Without an AMG or an M line vehicle, the sensation in the German automaker displays did not radiate the passion of the car makers.

In my first Georgian College Auto Show I attended in 1997, a Toyota Prius when hybrid technology was little more than a pricey gimmick (for some, the attitude towards hybrids have not . In 2008 Kia, who wasn’t even present at this year’s Georgian Auto Show, brought their Soul to the inspection of Canadian buyers ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Last year, two versions of the Mazda2 appeared before the Japanese auto company gave the greenlight to the vehicle’s sale in North America. As an automotive journalist, I was hoping to see more from the 2010 show products. But as an automotive enthusiast seeking a free-reign experience to sample a wide-selection of vehicle badges, this year’s Georgian College Auto Show was an excellent exploration.

Already mentioning the event as a hassle-free outing, the Georgian College Auto Show is more than just the figurative kicking of tires. Car care clinics, a Kids Zone and the Pfaff Porsche Autocross Track were all set up for a full weekend of automotive-related excitement.

With all the preparation placed into the event, the last ingredient of an outdoor auto show was weather. Occurring on the next week of September, the skilled student volunteers of the 2010 Georgian College Auto Show could not do anything to fight the unsettled weather which involved extreme heat on Friday and windy, cool conditions on the Saturday and Sunday. While the next batch of students will get a helping hand as the show is being moved to June in 2011, the ambassadors for this year’s show and automotive brands assembled a fantastic event to usher in the fall.

Information source: Georgian College

Related posts:

Fast Times at 2011 Georgian College Auto Show

The SEMA Show- The Better Auto Show?

Journey Inside the 2011 Canadian Auto Show Part 1

Automoblog.net - A Car Blog for Auto Enthusiasts

The New Scion tC Bows At New York

Car News

NY Auto Show

Scion

tC

The second- generation Scion 2011 tC sports coupe debuted at the New York International Auto Show this week. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

The second- generation Scion 2011 tC sports coupe debuted at the New York International Auto Show this week. The tC is scheduled to arrive in dealerships later this fall, and brings with it a host of new goodies, making for a pretty desirable ride.

“The all-new tC features styling that is both refined and aggressive, appealing to a sports coupe owner who wants to make a bold statement. The tC has had the youngest median age buyer in the industry, and with more power, superior driving dynamics, and increased fuel efficiency, that should remain the case with the new tC as well,” said Jack Hollis, vice president of Scion.

The most noteworthy aspect of the new tC is power. The second-generation tC arrives with an all-new 2.5- liter inline four-cylinder engine with dual VVT-i that cranks out 180 horsepower, which is 19 more than the previous version. Added to that is an additional 11 lbs.-ft of torque, and you can see where the tC could be a very interesting option. You not only get more power, but you also get an increase in fuel economy all while lowering emissions. There is also a new intake manifold design and a sport-tuned exhaust system that delivers a “bold and aggressive sound”.

Tranny-wise the latest tC gives you the choice of two all-new transmissions: the six-speed manual transmission is said to have improved shift-feel and adds to the car’s already fun-to-drive character, and a new six-speed automatic gains two gears along with sequential-shift.

The 2011 tC rides on a completely new platform, including a specially tuned MacPherson strut front-suspension and a double-wishbone rear-suspension. The latest tC rides lower than the previous model. There are larger 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels wrapped in wider tires. The new model also comes standard with larger 16-inch disc brakes on all corners, meaning that it should whoa up like the business. The tC also has a new performance-tuned electronic power-steering system.

The 2011 tC comes standard with an AM/FM/CD/USB audio system that features eight speakers. As with all Scion models, steering-wheel-mounted controls allow the driver to easily navigate through all of their music.

The new tC also has standard Anti-lock Brakes (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), traction control (TRAC), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). Active front-headrests and eight airbags are also standard, including both driver and front-passenger knee airbags.

Photos: Scion

Related posts:

The All-New Scion iQ

Redesigned 2011 Scion xB Pricing Announced

Scion Uncovers the Ultra-Blue xB Release Series 8.0

Automoblog.net - A Car Blog for Auto Enthusiasts

The All-New Scion iQ

Car News

NY Auto Show

Scion

iQ

New York Auto Show 2010

The all-new 2011 iQ premium micro-subcompact rolled out at the New York International Auto Show this week. src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">

The all-new 2011 iQ premium micro-subcompact rolled out at the New York International Auto Show this week. The iQ will go on sale in early 2011.

“Scion prides itself on being an innovative brand with a lineup of iconic vehicles that set automotive trends. The iQ will define the premium micro-subcompact segment as the choice for new urbanites who want clever transportation without a sacrifice in style or new features,” said Jack Hollis, vice president of Scion.

The Scion iQ hopes to meet the needs of a new generation of urban drivers by putting big ideas into a small package. Scion says the iQ has “intelligent and functional packaging,” and that it offers the functionality and comfort that drivers expect from a car twice its size.

Besides the iQ’s diminutive size, the most notable thing about the car is its “3+1” seating arraignment. The driver’s and front-passenger’s seats are slightly off set, allowing for one adult behind the front passenger and a child, small package, or pet behind the driver. The rear seats are extremely versatile, featuring a 50/50 split and the ability to fold flat, creating enough storage to accommodate up to two golf bags.

And like I said, the iQ is tiny. With a 78.7-inch wheelbase and a unique suspension design, MacPherson struts up front, and a torsion beam rear suspension, the three-door hatchback should be able to deftly maneuver through city traffic. The overall length of the iQ is only 120.1-inches, the width of 66.1-inches, and short front and rear overhangs create a confident stance that still allows the iQ to fit into virtually any urban parking scenario.

They really worked over the under-skin engineering as well, with such innovations as a compact air-conditioning unit, inverted front-mounted differential, and electronic power-steering system with compact steering column. Also, the iQ is equipped with a flat gas tank housed beneath the floor that reduces rear overhang.

Scion has also seen fit to give the iQ active safety features such as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), an anti-lock brake system (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Traction Control (TRAC).

Airbags? No worries there. The iQ will come standard with 10 SRS airbags, including the world’s first rear-window curtain airbag. There are also airbags for the driver- and front-passenger; driver- and front-passenger seat-mounted side airbags; side curtain airbags; driver- and front-passenger knee airbags; and a Scion-first driver seat-cushion airbag.

Engine-wise, the 2011 iQ is equipped with a 1.3-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces over 90 horsepower and features the latest dual VVT-i valvetrain gizmo. Yeah, not much, but Scion goes with the Tuner crown the way peanut butter goes with jelly – so you know that “over 90 horsepower” figure won’t last for long.

And speaking of the tuner crowd, the iQ comes standard with a six-speaker audio system and is available with multiple audio head units for various degrees of audiophiles. And all iQs will be outfitted with USB and auxiliary ports, allowing personal devices to be easily integrated into the car. There are steering-wheel-mounted controls to command the audio system to adjust volume and shuffle through music sources such as CD, AM/FM, auxiliary input, or a library from your iPod® or other USB device.

UPDATE: 2012 Scion iQ Review

Photos: Scion

Related posts:

The New Scion tC Bows At New York

Redesigned 2011 Scion xB Pricing Announced

Scion FR-S Concept Shows FT-86 A Step Closer to Production

Automoblog.net - A Car Blog for Auto Enthusiasts
