Hamann Lamborghini Murciélago LP640

German tuner Hamann is at it again. This time they’re taken the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and turned it into what they like to call a “Stealth Bomber on four wheels.”

Hamann Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

The kit includes a new double-pipe stainless sports rear silencer and a high-flow catalytic converter. Aesthetically, the modified Murci sports a new front and rear spoiler in either fiberglass or carbon-Kevlar, and also includes a two-part rear diffuser with additional air hoses for the side air intakes, and new side skirts. Hamann also throws in a set of 20-inch alloy wheels… Continue Reading…

Aston Martin DBS Photo Gallery

Aston Martin DBS

I found some really great new pictures of the Aston Martin DBS over at GTSpirit recently. The DBS is the James Bond car based off of my personal favorite Aston Martin, the DB9. The DBS will replace the current Vanquish, costing about the same ($220,000.) It’s also the fastest road-going Aston Martin to date.

Saab Aero X Concept - Photo Gallery

Saab Aero X Concept

Saab introduced the Aero X Concept in early 2006 to remind people of their roots in aviation. Designed with no doors or windshield pillars, the Aero X boasts a cockpit canopy as you would see in a jet aircraft.

The Aero X is powered by a 400-hp, twin-turbo, BioPower V6 engine that pushes the car from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph. It also boasts the coolest gauges I’ve ever seen, showing the speed, RPM and boost levels in 3-D. This is really, really cool:

Lexus LF-A Concept

Lexus LF-A Concept side

You may recognize this car form back in 2005 at the Detroit Auto Show, where Toyota’s Jim Press unveiled the Lexus LF-A. It was, at the time, truly a concept car. Now they have a new version out and reports of spy cars are coming in from all over, and we were lucky enough to see it at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show. The interior has changed and is very close to what it will look like come production. As you can see the car itself has morphed into a more realistic production vehicle. Its sharp lines and aggressive stance make it look like it will very easily tear up its competition, and why not?

Dynamic Image Viewing in my Photo Gallery

When I introduced AutomoBlog’s new Photo Gallery last month, I got a great response. People love it! Ever since then, I’ve been tweaking it more and more to help it fit in with the rest of the site.

Today I introduce a unique way at viewing the pictures in the gallery. Now when you click on the pictures from the Gallery home, you will be able to view the images dynamically, which makes for much quicker and cooler viewing.

Before you go there and check it out, make sure you have javascript enabled. Visit the Photo Gallery here. Make sure the page loads completely, then click on any of the photos! When the screen dims and the picture loads, hold the mouse cursor over the image, and “Next” and “Prev” links will appear over the picture. Click on those to flip through the pictures.

Please contact me if you have any issues.
