Car-Themed Shoes

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Stilettos:

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera heels

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera edo

There crazy heels were designed by illustrator Tim Cooper, possibly to be sold by Tonino on behalf of Lamborghini. Click on the image for a high-res version.

These stilettos are incredibly gaudy, and as much as I love Lamborghini, I simply couldn’t take anyone seriously who is wearing these. Plus, I think the signature Superleggera orange or green finish would look much cooler, albeit less fashionable. Regardless, I’m sure if they do go on sale, they will sell out no matter what the price, which would surely be ridiculously expensive. Continue Reading…

Mini Supercars - A Photo Gallery

Mini Lamborghini Diablo

Sometime last year, a few Photoshop gurus got together and made some very funny “mini” versions of their favorite cars. The trend caught on, and soon lots of people were taking their favorite cars, and through the process of image manipulation, made them mini versions of themselves.

Below, you will find a photo gallery full of these micro machines, in all of their hilarious glory. If you have any you’d like to share, please leave a comment.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster

The latest (and probably last) iteration of the SLR McLaren called the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 S Roadster gets a ridiculously powerful 5.5 liter supercharged V8 boasting 650 horsepower, 605 lb/feet of torque, a 0-62 mph time of 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 220 mph, making it the fastest convertible ever made. Check out the photo gallery below: Continue Reading…

SEMA 2008: Nissan GT-R Heaven

The new Chevy Camaro was the Official SEMA 2008 car, but based on the amount of Nissan GT-Rs there, I’d say the GT-R was the winner. Every other booth seemed to have their own version of a tuned GT-R. We got pictures of most of them, take a look below for the gallery:

Edo Competition Tunes Enzo Ferrari

edo.jpg

Damn, I don’t know how, but they did it- Edo Competition has made the already insane Enzo even crazier.

Along with the visual package, which I don’t like, Edo has given the Enzo more horsepower, more torque, a higher top speed, and overall better performance, thanks to all of the performance upgrades. The engine is an all aluminum V12 behemoth, with Edo’s performance exhaust. Other performance goodies include a new high-flow catalytic converter, a performance muffler, a ram air intake system, better air filters and ECU recalibration. Put it all together and you get the following:

Horsepower is increased from 485 to a monster 700, and top speed is increased from 217 mph to 230. The 0-60 time is now under 3.5 seconds, since 3.5 is for a 0-62 mph, so 3.3 should be about right. A new light-weight clutch and new a transmission control unit provide the same shift times as the uber FXX. Special suspension and light weight wheels and tires complete this awesome package. Not too bad, in fact, this is actually very good. Greenpeace will be screaming bloody murder, but Ferrari has never cared about them before, so no reason to start now. Continue Reading…
