
Hundreds of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Alfa Romeos and other Italian exotics showed up for Concorso Italiano in Monterey, CA last Friday. I really wanted to attend, but couldn’t find the time this year. Hopefully next year will prove differently. Although the Concorso is called “The Celebration of Italian Style” and focused on Italian Sports Cars, there were plenty of other enthusiast cars present, such as Rolls-Royce, Saleen, BMW, Lotus, and more.
At Concorso Italiano, Ferrari celebrated the 50th anniversary of the gorgeous 250 GT California Spyder, while Lamborghini President Stephan Winklemann and test driver Valentino Balboni were present to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the legendary Countach, showing off the first Countach ever produced.
A few other notable cars present, were the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Lambo Murcielago R-GT race car, and 1 of only three Lamborghini Miura Roadsters. Continue Reading…
