
No, that’s not Fabio the long-haired hunk of a fashion model. It’s Farbio - the newest British car company wanting to break out into the sports car market.
It does a nice job with the mid-engined GTS - it comes in either a Naturally-Aspirated or Supercharged model. The base version gets 262 horsepower, while the supercharged version boasts 384 ponies, both from a 3.0L V6. The base model GTS gets from 0 to 60 mph in an admirable 4.8 seconds, but the supercharger helps the GTS scoot to the same speed in only 3.9 seconds - almost one full second faster.
It’s a somewhat light car - the body being made completely from carbon fiber helps it to weight in at around 2300 pounds, and the supercharger only adds 45 lbs, significantly increasing the power-to-weight ratio, which I’m sure is the main reason the S/C version is so much quicker. The Farbio GTS comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, 19″ multi-spoke alloy wheels, and a nice leather and Alcantara interior that can seat a driver as tall as 6′6″; perfect for me, I’m 6′4″.
