The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a very cool car. Mainly for a younger crowd, the Coupe gives us the quintessential sports-car layout: front-engine, rear-wheel-drive (FR,) on a lightweight, fun-to-drive platform for a measly $23,000 (starting price.) And what do nearly all import tuners do with an FR layout sports car? Well, they drop in a humongous LS1 V8 from a Corvette, of course.

We originally saw this car at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas last November. And now it’s for sale – for only $45,000.

Mated to a Magnusun Roots Style Supercharger and T56 Manual Transmission (used in everything from a Dodge Viper to the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish,) this bad boy puts out somewhere around 560 hp to the wheels. Yes, that’s ridiculously fast.

Of course, more than just the engine and transmission were modified to achieve this sort of power. The builders, Enjuku Racing, also installed and replaced all sorts of internals, modified the suspension to BC Racing Coilovers, added a Quaife LSD, BC Racing Wheels, a Wilwood 14″ Front Big Brake Kit to slow all that momentum, SPEC Stage 1 Clutch & Flywheel, ISIS Performance Race Exhaust, Custom headers, Hurst Short shifter, Sparco racing seats, a Carbon Fiber body kit (including the hood, trunk, lip, and roof skin,) and plenty of other minor goodies to make the car safe to drive.

The parts total: $51,000 alone. You can buy the car without the supercharger, but why would you want to? Either way, Enjuku Racing will dyno and tune the car for you upon purchase.

The supercharger popping out the top looks pretty funny, but it sure does sound good.

The “12 Hours of Sebring” chair has to be the most ironic and my number one choice for a few reasons. First, unless you pay for it, there is no seating in Sebring, a fact that they neglect to mention when you buy passes or look on the website. Secondly, at about $400, it won’t break the budget.

Budget? What budget, you say. Money is no object? Then buckle up. You can enjoy the same seating as the owner of a Ferrari Scuderia 16M for the everyday low price of $25,000. Touted as one of the most comfortable seats from Ferrari, don’t expect it quick- each chair is custom made.

You now have a sweet chair to sit in behind that power desk, but what will you be working on? Why, a car inspired computer, naturally. Computer manufacturer ASUS has teamed up with Lamborghini to introduce the ASUS- Automobili Lamborghini VX7 laptop. Now, you can speed through the cyber world like it’s the Autobahn because this $2,200 laptop has the Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition processor that not only helps you get the job done, but gives you the best gaming performance out there. (Just don’t tell the boss…)

With the coolest desk, the sickest chair, and the fastest computer you now have a line of people waiting to see you. They know that you are the one who can make things happen, but what will you have them sit on? Carbon fiber sitting chairs are a great choice. GarageWorks Industries has a line of modest looking carbon fiber chairs, including a rocking chair for when your mom visits starting at about $1,400.

But, if the carbon fiber chair is just a tad to plain for your tastes, you can always step it up a notch or three. You can have your guests sit in style in a Porsche 917 1970′s inspired seat from Inspired Designs, while you run through the numbers. But at about $5,800, you may be a bit more picky who you give the green light too for a test sit.

If you’re after something a bit more elegant then look no further than Aston Martin Heritage Designs. They have handcrafted a love seat out of the boot of an Aston Martin DB6. The sofa is a custom order that may run you upwards of $7,300.

Every visitor to your office will more than likely have something they will need to set down. You want to give them another stylish and car inspired piece to do that with, a table. Different’ sizes and shapes, coffee tables and end tables can make or break a look. If you have gone with the F1 Inspired office with the carbon fiber chairs, why not keep with it by investing in carbon fiber tables? From $800 up, a carbon fiber table from Seibon will not only be indestructible, but also a sleek and chic way to impress.

If your tastes for the unique have won your designs over, then have no fear, I have the best coffee table for you, one made from an engine block. Many tables made from blocks are custom orders and can range in price from $500 to a couple of thousand. It’s best to not get one made from an inline formation, the wedge of a V engine will support a glass top better. Most will be made from a Chevrolet V-8, but a connoisseur can have anything, including an Aston Martin V-12 converted into usable work of art.

Now, you have all of the basics covered, desk, chair, computer, seating, and tables, but what about the accessories that will drive home the fact that you’d rather be racing than working? No problem. You can provide all the lighting you could ever want with a pair of Maserati inspired and Lumina produced lamps.

With the work day being stressful on a loyal servant such as yourself, you find that music in the background soothes your soul. But, not just any stereo system will do, oh no. You want the best, so you shell out $20,000 for a Ferrari speaker tower called the Art.Engine. It should pair up nicely with your Ferrari FMP160 MP3 player.

Ah, another tumultuous work day comes to a close. You made the numbers you needed to this month and you would like to pour a toast to the entire office to celebrate. You duck into your office and see what you have in the final piece in your office transformation, a Jaguar Etype V-12 engine block that has been transformed into a wine rack. Each cylinder now capable of holding a full 720mL bottle of bubbly, you’ll be looking for reasons to pop a cork at 5:00.

You have created your ultimate work space, a gear heads paradise away from the garage and you like it. Sure it’s set you back more than some people pay for houses, but your life is cars. You went to a lot of different places to get these goodies, and you are now basking in your stylistic glory. But, if you’re way too busy to do all of the digging and running around to find all of these pieces you’re in luck; LA Design Studios in Poland as developed a whole office furniture line inspired by the Shelby AC Cobra 427 from the mid-1960′s(pictured first). So, instead of each piece bringing it’s unique characteristics to the room, all the pieces will coordinate to make your space feel like it was designed by Shelby himself. This one stop shop won’t save in the budget however, but at least one check is easier to write than 15.

Lately, it has become apparent that eBay wants to be known more than an auction site allowing the exchange of attic treasures, celebrity memorabilia and pieces of toast wearing images resembling religious figures.

Since 1999, eBay Motors has allowed individuals as well as participating dealerships to advertise and sold vehicles through their website. With Kia products being offered through eBay, this is not the first automaker lured to presence of eBay. Last year, General Motors partnered with the on-line marketplace during the time the United States government fueled a fury of new car buying through an incentive known popularly as the ‘Cash for Clunkers’ program. Available only for the state of California, GM attracted over 4,000 new car buyers in less than 3 weeks through the on-line reach-out. The program’s success provoked GM and eBay to extend their through to the September 30th of 2009 but ended promptly on that date.

Featuring vehicles like the new 2011 Sportage and Sorento, Kia Motors America hopes the new sales environment will continues to flourish the automaker’s existence in the United States. According to a recent Businessweek article, Kia’s new auto sales for the first 10 months of this year is a 15 percent improvement over the previous year. The expansion into eBay Motors has the possibility to aid Americans in discovering Kia.

You don’t see this every day – a real live Koenigsegg CCX for Sale on eBay. Man if I had an extra $400,000, this would be mine in a New York minute.

For those of you not familiar with the Koenigsegg CCX, it’s a supercar made in Sweden, and holds the second fastest official top speed record in the world for a production car, reaching over 250 mph. It goes from 0-62 mph in only 3.2 seconds, carries a twin-supercharged 4.7-liter V8 producing 850 horsepower, and has one of the best engine noises in the world. According to Koenigsegg, the CCX can reach a top speed of 259 mph, but this has not been officially verified.

The car in the auction is located in Tokyo, Japan and has a Buy-it-Now price of a (relatively) reasonable $400,000.

Those who know me are familiar with the Koenigsegg CCX being my all-time favorite car, as I am fully prepared at any moment to ramble on endlessly about how great it is.

Replica cars are, for the most part, meant to fool people into thinking you’re driving the real thing, so you can save some money. Look, I’m all for people doing crazy shit to cars and being innovative, but let’s be reasonable. Who is this going to fool? I don’t even feel right calling this a Lamborghini replica.

Built off of a 2008 Pontiac Solstice chassis, at least it’s a step up from the typical Fiero kit cars. And to this person’s credit, it looks like the build was actually done very well with good craftsmanship. But saying that this looks like a Murcielago is blasphemy.

And for $70,000? It’s a nice build, but keep in mind you’re just buying a Pontiac Solstice in a Lamborghini costume.

Unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT was Lambo’s first variation on the popular V12 supercar first released in 2001. Boasting around 590 horsepower, the R-GT still holds the same V12 engine as the standard car. It was also converted from the standard AWD to a rear-wheel-drive layout due to FIA regulations.

One fine example is now for sale on eBay for a Buy-it-Now price of $395,000.

When you buy the Murcielago R-GT you will also receive support from Lamborghini’s own ‘Customer Sports Program’, a division of Automobili Lamborghini SpA which not only sells these race cars but is also present on and near the track for assistance if needed.

Once the IAA Frankfurt closes the doors, the Murcielago R-GT will be shipped to Reiter Engineering who will perform extensive tests on the car to further develop it and even increase the already massive potential of this new model in the American Le Mans Series and the European FIA GT races.
Reiter Engineering will enter the car for the Estoril race (October 5, 2003) and the Monza race (October 29, 2003), on both occasions the car will be driven by Oliver Gavin and Dutch race driver Peter Kox. The latter was already a driver on the Diablo GTR that was entered last year in the FIA GT races.
Some sources also state that Vici Racing, owned by Ron Meixner, will run one of the Murcielago R-GT cars in the 1000 Km of Le Mans to work on tire development for this extreme Lamborghini.

OK, for me, this falls into the category of totally bitchin’.

Before Dale (and that would be senior) and before NASCAR became an irresistible beige monolith of marketing and sponsorship opportunities with some “racing” thrown in now and again, one racer stood above them all.

You don’t get a nickname like “King” lightly, and if anyone ever deserved it, Richard Petty sure as hell did.

The vast majority of the time, he raced Chrysler products, and they were always (always, always) painted a particular shade of blue.

Dodge, pulling off a move of supreme coolness, has decided to paint the 43rd Dodge Challenger off the line that very shade of “Petty Blue” (although when I was a kid, I always heard it called Petty Racing Enterprises Blue) and auction it off for

The cash raised at the auction will go to Victory Junction Gang Camp which was set up and is still run by the Petty family (real good outfit, real good family).

So hey, if you’re rich, and you’re predisposed to wanting things like this, go bid.

Now is your chance to own the only road registered TVR Cerbera Speed 12 around. You better hurry though, there are only 2 days left of the auction at the time of writing this article. Peter Wheeler, owner of TVR until 2004, took the car home only to return it saying it wasn’t drivable on the street due to its powerful engine and production was soon halted. This “McLaren F1 Killer” around 880 horsepower sitting in it’s 1000kg frame, and it’s top speed is estimated to be around 240 mph.

The seller bought this car in late 2003 in non-working condition, and with the help of TVR and his race engineers, rebuilt the whole thing over the course of two years. He also claims to have lowered the weight further by using carbon fiber and titanium.

“TVR built just 5 Cerbera Speed 12′s – four were racing cars and one was a road car. The car was designed to not only race in the British GT championship of the late 1990′s but also to compete directly with the definitive hyper-car of the time – the McLaren F1 road car. The then owner of TVR and mastermind of the project, Peter Wheeler, realised that to improve upon the performance of the F1 the car would have to be both lighter and more powerful – this they succeeded in achieving by designing the monster that we have today. Sadly, after careful consideration TVR dropped the concept, as it was considered that the car was just too powerful and dangerously fast to be sold to the general public and retracted the many orders that had already been received. The four race cars had their time and there the story ended.”

No doubt the fate of this beast will see it either sitting in a garage or museum it’s whole life, or wrapped around a tree or phone poll like so many poor Enzos of recent day.

Hahaha, I honestly couldn’t stop laughing at this. Apparently it’s a high-quality Lamborghini replica. Of what, I’m not sure. Kinda looks like they were torn between a Ferrari Enzo and a Lamborghini Countach, but they didn’t get either one right.

Wow.

the chance of a lifetime to own what looks like a REAL Lamborgini (sic) for a fraction of the price.

I’m going to go ahead and disagree with that one. The auction is filled with obvious typos and claims that this car looks truly authentic. You must go look at the auction itself as there are many more pictures for you to stare at in amazement, trying to figure out who would fall for this.

For the most important aspect of the car, Stillen has increased the boost of the stock car by 2 psi, added a new intake manifold, a new and improved air filter, and added a free-flow exhaust system giving the car an extra 65 horsepower over stock. On top of the power gains, the SMZ offers carbon fiber accents in the interior, a special numbered interior plaque, and alloy pedals. The upgraded suspension includes stiffer anti-roll cars, higher-rate springs and larger tires. The exterior modifications are subtle but obvious. The Yokohama wheels, the louvered nose-panel, the more aggressive front spoiler, rocker-panel and rear valance, and huge rear wing. Oh yes, and we can’t forget about the SMZ and Stillen decals tastefully placed on the car.
