We already saw how Infiniti changed the G37 drastically from the Coupe Concept displayed last year, but we didn’t get a very good look at the interior. Not only is the interior missing the “pizazz” that the concept had, I think it’s downright lackluster. Take a look at the comparison:

So here we are, the list of the top 10 fastest production cars in the world, ranked by top speed. All the cars you would expect are on the list, ranked from fastest to slowest (though calling any of these cars slow is blasphemy.) We start the list with the king of fast.
Update: I’d like to clarify that this list only includes production cars. I’ve had a lot of comments mentioning the Lingenfelter Corvette, etc being faster, but that ultra-fast Vette is not in production. I’d also like to clear up that this list was created on March 30th, 2007.

No surprises here, the fastest and most powerful production car ever makes the top of the list. I wonder when Koenigsegg will decide to take the #1 position and beef up the CCX.
Infiniti just released a sketch of what the 2008 G Coupe will resemble. Whether it will still be called the G35 or not is unsure, but given the rumored 3.7 liter V-6 that the car will most likely be powered by, I’m thinking more along the lines of G37. From the sketches, it seems Infiniti wants the new coupe to look like a mix between the beautiful Coupe Concept, and the current G35 sedan. Tiff from Fifth Gear does a comparison drive of the McLaren F1 and Ferrari Enzo. I would love a chance to drive either one of these (preferably the McLaren.) Keep in mind that the McLaren is over a decade old now, is is still being compared head-to-head with the newest ultimate Ferrari. Amazing, if you ask me.
