He believes the future of the automotive industry will depend in a large part on the recommendation of enthusiasts and Generation Y. Not only in regards to buying power, but in driving opinion and spreading a brand’s message through the internet and various forms of social media. His appreciation for cars formed at an early age, thanks to his dad, who has always been involved with cars in different ways over the years. NHSTA Closes The Book On Tesla Model S Fire

NHSTA Closes The Book On Tesla Model S Fire

It’s not often that you hear about car fires on the news – and that’s because thousands of them occur every year. I’ve personally witnessed one burning on the side of the road. The media loves sensationalism though (hey it sells papers…err, drives traffic). When the very first Tesla Model S was involved in an […]

2014 BMW 2-Series Starts At $32,100

. Folks, we have a BMW announcement for you and – surprise – it isn’t about an electric city car or another small SUV. Instead, it’s a rear-wheel drive, (relatively) lightweight, turbocharged coupe. We’d like to call it back to the basics, but we know that isn’t happening. The German “Big Three” Volkswagen (and by […]

Rock Climbing Jeep Style | Moab Easter Jeep Safari

It’s funny how perception can change. Since 2008, I have lived on 25 acres of land reached by an uneven road featuring numerous potholes, protruding rocks and a mixture of dirt and gravel. I thought that was off-roading – until last week, that is. Last month, the Jeep brand invited me to experience the 47th […]

Land Rover Sells Out Of 2013 Range Rover

As most of us know, sport utility vehicles were all the rage in the 1990s and early 2000s. You know, back when the economy was roaring and gas was cheap. The HUMMER was the best example of this excess with the H2. It was a trend that fast wore out. Where is it now? Oh […]

Bentley EXP 9 F

Bentley SUV Inches Forward

I’m pretty sure that the Bentley EXP 9 F SUV does bad things (real sophisticated analysis there, I know) for the Bentley brand every time it pops up on a website somewhere. That’s because most people hate it. It’s inevitable though that pictures of it are going to circulate every time we hear a bit […]

CUE Update Coming For Cadillac ATS & XTS – But When?

Ah, software updates. You’ve got to love the big ones that can take hours and require us to restart our computers (or phones, whatever the case may be). I’ve got one waiting on my phone right now for me – oh joy. We’ve all been used to software updates for our computers and phones. Now […]

Next-Generation Bentley Flying Spur Due For Geneva

Next-Generation Bentley Flying Spur Due For Geneva

As planned obsolescence isn’t a part of Bentley’s vocabulary, new models don’t come around very often. As such, when a new one is on the way it’s a pretty big deal (unless you’re the EXP 9 F, that is…). Most of the discussion around new Bentley models has centered around the possibility of an SUV. […]

Spyker Bringing Key New Model To Geneva

Spyker Bringing Key New Model To Geneva

When Saab finally went bankrupt, many thought Chief Executive Officer Victor Mueller would disappear off the automotive scene, at least for a while. Mueller had tried tirelessly for months and months to secure Saab’s future, negotiating deals with different companies that he hoped would save the company. Mueller is clearly a car guy with negotiating […]
