Oil Dynamics of the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO

NISMO #5

When running full throttle in the 24 Hour of Le Mans, the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO needs all the protection it can get.  Correct viscosity is ever so important; too low and metal on metal contact within the engine persists while high viscosity results in lost power and fuel.

It’s a fine balance.

The right oil dynamics for the 550 horsepower Nissan GT-R LM NISMO is an exact science and a precise art.

NISMO University recently explained why the GT-R LM is front wheel drive.  Now, NISMO’s decade plus partnership with MOTUL is highlighted in the latest video from NISMO University.

Creating the vital lubricants necessary for optimum track performance is no easy endeavor but together, MOTUL and NISMO have something special.

Enjoy!
