When you’re a person with sizable wealth, it is possible to buy anything that may or may not exist (so I have heard). Despite being a small fragment of the general population, the amassed wealth of some is enough to fuel an entire luxury industry.

Among auto companies, Cadillac, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin has long-running histories With luxury products already existing as a niche, high-end product outfitters frequently experiment in creating additional niches to further the exclusivity of their brand. The Lamborghini Veneno and the “30 Jahre M5” are both examples for how automotive companies add a little more desirability through rarity. For affluent tastes of the Middle Eastern area, Aston Martin has been motivated to create an entirely new car.

Designed for “strictly limited series production“, the British luxury performance marque presented a sample of their upcoming bespoke super saloon. This regionally limited Aston Martin will also be the recipient of the dormant Lagonda. Originally linked to an auto company Aston Martin acquired after the Second World War, Lagonda has been used to promote four-door vehicles. The brand that marketed the first iteration of the Rapide in 1960s, Lagonda was morphed into a model name in 1976 for Aston Martin’s attempt in selling a four-door vehicle.

To be constructed on existing on existing VH architecture, Aston Martin has shown a side profile that casts the image of a vehicle capturing old and new design elements. Present with signs of the current Rapide, the long, flat hood combined with the large rear roof pillar bares resemblance to the original Aston Martin Lagonda. Revealing only the shape of the “bespoke super saloon”, Aston Martin has provided few details on this Middle East Special. “The debut of this luxury super saloon in the Middle East market will be an exciting moment not only for Aston Martin, but for discerning customers who are seeking the ultimate in luxury and personalisation.”, said Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman.

Scheduled to start production in early 2015, going details on the release of the new Aston Martin Lagonda super saloon will without doubt beam across the globe.
