So let’s start with a couple hypothetical thoughts. You have a nice car, something you invested in. Maybe it’s a nice coupe…perfect date car. You may keep it clean, but it’s a daily driver so the interior gets a lot of use. Well when you go to pick up said girl, she might be quite impressed by said car…that is until she get’s in and it smells like a years worth of 8 hour work days.
Or maybe you have an older car, and it may be rough on the outside but you keep it clean and polished like you would with a Ferrari…that says a lot about a man! Unless it doesn’t smell nice. You could go out and buy one of the trees that hang from your mirror to spruce it up, but that hints at “My car normally smells like old food and feet, but this covers all that up.” It’s kind of obvious. Basically no matter what you drive, no matter how nice of a ride, the whole impression can be ruined if it doesn’t smell clean.
What you need is something that can’t be seen so that when people into your car it smells nice and makes you seems like the clean well-kempt fellow you are. Discretion is the name of the game here. That way whether you have a nice sports car or an old beater it gives the proper impression that you take good care of whatever you drive.
The people from PERK invented a Vent Wrap and were kind enough to let us try them out, and I have to say it’s the best bit of fragrance technology my cars have ever seen. I’ve been using these vent vehicle wraps in my car for the last few weeks and have gotten some compliments on how nice my car smelled. I have to say my favorite is the “New Car” scent because obviously that’s what we all want, right? That new car smell! It makes the whole car feel fresh and no one is going to notice!
The smell from just one vent air freshener has lasted me 17 days so far due to the StediScent® technology (explained in the video below), and just one is strong enough to freshen up the scent of the whole car. It uses the natural airflow from the air vents to spread the smell without blocking the airflow. I would definitely recommend giving these a try if you like to impress your passengers with discrete pleasant smells. You can pick these up at Advance Auto Parts, Walmart, Target, or pretty much anywhere they sell car air fresheners. Check out the video below for more info:
