Pagani Huayra – the Latest Decepticon

Pagani Huayra

As you know, we can be a bit geeky over here when it comes to video games and movies, especially when there are incredible cars involved.

It’ll come to no surprise then, that I’m a little excited about the new Transformers 4 movie coming out next year.

And one of the coolest things about Transformers is its impressive list of cars (with the general understanding that all the Autobots [the good guys, if you didn’t know] are GM vehicles and all the Decepticons [the baddies] are filed under “other makes”.) The Decepticons end up having some pretty kick-ass cars though, and Transformers 4 is shaping up to be no different.

It was just released that they’ll be using a blood red version of the incredible and rare Pagani Huayra in the new movie. The official announcement stated: “Considered a masterpiece of design and engineering, this fierce, 2013 blood red Pagani Huayra, is named after an ancient Andean God of Wind.”

With 720 hp and 740 lb-ft of torque (not to mention several go-fast awards and records,) the Autobots better be some damn good drivers to outrun this beast.

About The Author

I founded Automoblog.net in May of 2006 to share my love of cars. My favorites include the Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT and Koenigsegg CCX, and I think the Ferrari 360 Spider is still one of the sexiest cars in existence. For “normal” cars, I like imports - Nissan, Audi, Subaru... I love my Pearl Yellow (don't judge) 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT and plan to get it to around 550 HP one day. I'm also an avid world traveler and love rock climbing.
