Suzuki Veyron Replica 4

The Geo Metro Makes a Comeback as…a Bugatti Veyron!?

While many kit car companies pride themselves on things like building a cheap car to look as indistinguishably close to a Lamborghini as possible, new car design company SF Carz (the “z” at the end makes them legit) decided to take one of the slowest cars in the world and make it look like one of the fastest cars in the world.

What is this I don’t even…

Believe it or not, this, uhh…thing, started its life as a second generation Suzuki Swift – or depending on where you are in the world, also known as the Suzuki Esteem, or as we Americans are all too familiar with, the infamous Geo Metro. That’s right, the same car that brings us gems like this:

Geo Metro Monster Truck
Jeff Foxworthy would have a field day with this

To be fair, as far as looks go, this is actually pretty well done. No, it’s not going to fool anybody with two functioning eyes, but to take this car…

Suzuki Swift

and turn it into this car…

…takes some skill.

Despite the fact that this car is powered not by the Veyron’s quad-turbocharged W16 1,001 hp monster powerplant but by a wheezing 1.3-liter four-banger sputtering out a measly 85 hp (when it was new,) you might get some heads to turn. Whether that’s a good thing or not is to be determined.

The blue-tinted headlight surrounds to make it look like the car has HIDs is a nice touch, likely purchased from a China-based eBay Motors merchant selling them at $1.59 per kit. I’m also liking the always-up rear spoiler/air brake and the 16-inch wheels that just scream “Classy”. The fact that the car is almost taller than it is wide probably doesn’t do it any justice though. And if you’re going to make a Veyron replica, why wouldn’t you put out the extra cash and do a signature two-tone paint scheme?
