With the V8 ditched, I’d have to favour the S5′s big sister the RS5, a car for me that’s better than the M3.

I used to think that nothing would ever replace a V8. However, times they have changed, as well as gas prices. I think a V8 will always be preferred for the car enthusiast, however, a V6 will end up doing just fine.

Aw man, I was dreading the day that they'd inevitably drop that wonderful V8. I get it – efficiency, fuel economy, weight, blah blah blah, but really nothing beat the sound and feel of that 4.2-liter monster. I loved it.
