Toyota Confirms 2010 Prius “Leaked Photos”

Toyota has officially confirmed that the “leaked” images of the 2010 Prius are real, and…that’s it.

The Prius will be about the same size as the current model (we suspect about and inch wider and and inch shorter based on previous spy shots,) and that the fuel economy will be better (duh.)

The new Prius will face battle with the Honda Insight unveiled at the Paris Motor Show earlier this month. As you can see from the styling (more images below,) Toyota doesn’t want to stray too far from the current winning formula, but they have applied the same “snub nose” found on the 2009 Camry and Corolla.

Look for more updates when the car is officially revealed at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show in January.
