I thought Lamborghini design is mixer of elegance and sharpness (of an Estoque). I think designers wanted to give the car both but lost their mind in the midway and the outcome is a boring bulky shape. Now the design is looking like a mixer of a muscle car and Reventon with no sharpness (in the body shape as a whole) but only some edges cut with a razor blade. The side profile is dull with an Aston Martin type vent. The big wheel flare arc at the rear side profile is really too boring helping Lamborghini to have lost its character and proportions. I didn't find A-pillar going down towards the front wheel as like in the Gallardo and Murcielago and that straightforward design is another boring element to look at and made the stance tall.

What i liked is the rear view and the front view but the horizontal headlamps in the front are ugly.

I don't really bother about the 4-door idea but if you keep a chauffeur give him some extra salary to clean the dirts in the sharp edges.

And the front engined idea is not supposed to be good for the health of the car and the company. If they design a rear engined car then it would have been a nice design. Also no need to give practicality in a super sedan, a small boot at the front is enough. Look at the latest Peugeot 4-door concept, their design is better proportioned. And still, if Lamborghini people like to provide a boot at the back then i just say make some good sense of design.

I couldn't disagree with you more. This thing looks like a Lamborghini proper. When you look at the side view, all you see is vintage Espada, with a little Jalpa thrown into the front for good measure.

This is the car that Lamborghini needs to make if it wants to maintain its character, not dilute it as some say. Lamborghini is more profitable than ever and if they want to keep Daddy Audi from stepping in, they need icons like the Reventon, Gallardo LP, and this beauty. The tail lights are perfect, the front radiator vents look like they're ripped straight from the Reventon, and the proportions of the hood are ideal, giving the car a rear-biased stance while still allowing the hood to scoop dangerously low, improving cornering confidence. It looks like it was symmetrically carved from a piece of magnesium by a skilled Boy Scout's pocket knife. In short, this is the model Lamborghini must produce next.

A thousand Lamborghini purists just commited suicide by jumping off a cliff.

Personally, I gotta say I like the back. And the wheels. And...that's pretty much it.

Upon seeing the profile my first thought was "Camaro". It's aesthetically horrific how the hood just sorta slopes down, it just looks so out of proportion, like the designers ran out of ideas.

Speaking of out of proportion, what the hell is wrong with the face? Those (vents) are the two biggest cheeks I have ever seen. The Reventon nose is applied with disastrous results.

Finally, not a single extreme side vent in sight. No sensual curves, or jutting razor creases. No vertical doors, no blood-pumping stance, nothin. A Lamborghini is supposed to stir up some real excitement, and this one fails at that. It's just so unremarkable, so tame for a Lamborghini, and so normal. And making it a sedan? Why are you going along with this mainstream "four-door coupe" BS Lamborghini?
