Can You Make My Smart More Bitchin’?

Koenigseder Smart 1

And the guys from Koenigseder answer a resounding “Jah!”

And they said there are no dumb questions … anyway, you knew this was bound to happen. Sooner or later, somebody, somewhere would take a Smart Car, and start to trick it out.

In this case, Koenigseder, from Austria, in case your wondering, flared fenders, lowered the ride height via Eibach springs and added 17-inch wheels (what are the size of the stock wheels on these? I swear they look like 12s). Not content with re-doing the outside, they decided to, uh, improve the interior as well with, among other things, floral decals.

We got more pictures after the jump, but even funnier is the translated press release from the Koenigseder site. Take it away Dieter:

smart 451 prasentation

adequate to the warmer temperatures konigseder used the smart fortwo cabrio to set an example in times of disputed emission values and co2 taxes.

that tuning does not necessarily have to go hand in hand with large engines should also be expressed by the floral shaped stickers that decorate the white paint.

as contrast to the color of innocence the body has been broadened by 3cm per side for a more aggressive appearance and for a better handling eibach sport springs have been installed.

such large wheel arches need to be filled and therefore schmidt space wheels in 7,5 and 9,5×17 with white centers found a new home there.

the environmental friendly concept has been also been a priority in the interior which is the reason why the floor has been planked with king carpets made out of renewable raw material.

for curious glimpses from other road users, königseder front and rear spoilers convert the smart once and for all in a desired tuning object.
