It seems that the latest Brit version of the Maserati GranTurismo has custom designed luggage available. And not just any luggage, but a set of Salvatore Ferragamo Luggage at that.
I know, I know … who cares?!
Well, if you ever lived with a sports car, you’ll no doubt know that terms like “practical” and “trunk space” are just aberrations of a fevered mind.
At the moment, the only car I own is a sports car with a trunk the size of a lunch box. I also happen to own a seven piece set of luggage that exactly fits into the things boot, and if you ever drive the car on vacation anywhere (and really, living mere miles from the Pacific Coast Highway, I pretty much have to drive the thing on vacations, or I should give up my keys) stuff like fitted luggage is a godsend.
If you can pack it into the luggage, then it will fit into the trunk.
Period.
Of course, the all up value of my car would barely count for a down payment on the luggage that Salvatore Ferragamo makes for said Mazer, but hey, at least I’m in the same ball park, right?
You know, two seater, winding roads, stay someplace interesting at the end of a long days drive, that sort of thing.
