The Mitsu was much better than the last generation, but it still can't compete with the fun-to-drive feeling you get behind the wheel of the 3. I don't want to repeat myself here as I've explained it in the article. On looks, I think the Lancer is much more aggressive looking, but the back end has those squinty taillights. Not very attractive. The 3 has that sleek, Euro look to it and it looks good from both the front and the rear.
