Maserati GranTurismo Coupe Gallery and Video

Maserati GranTurismo Coupe

They finally got it right; this has to be the sexiest Maserati ever. Designed by the infamous Pininfarina, the Maserati GranTurismo will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next year.

Although it has some styling cues of the awkward-looking Quattroporte sedan, the GranTurismo Coupe wins my vote with it’s aggressive headlights, modern taillights, long wheelbase, and front grill that looks like it will eat you alive if you wander too close.

This Maserati boasts 405 horsepower, delivered by a 4.2L V8 engine, transferred to the wheels with an adaptive control automatic transmission. While not a great performer (0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds,) the GranTurismo doesn’t pretend to be. From the press release:

The Maserati GranTurismo is built with particular attention to comfort, choice of materials and details and with enough room for four people, as only Maserati can do.

Indeed. This Maserati is basically a family car for the Ferrari lover. Below is a cheesy promo video for the newest Maserati, and below the video, be sure to enjoy the photo gallery.

Defiantly one of the best looking cars to come out in recent years. Aston Martin will finally have a car to compete with in its own class.
