I couldn’t think of a much better successor to the fantastic Infiniti G35 Coupe, which was debuted back in 2003. The Infiniti G37 Coupe will be displayed in showrooms this month as a 2008 model. While I really wish they wouldn’t have changed the design from the original Coupe Concept, the G37 is still a welcome addition.
Prices are as follows:
- Infiniti G37 Coupe (5-speed auto): $34,250
- Infintit G37 Coupe Journey (5-speed auto): $35,000
- Infiniti G37 Coupe Sport 6MT (6-speed manual): $35,550
The Journey model comes standard with Auto on/off headlights, 8-way power passenger seat, Dual HVAC, and an in-dash 6-disc CD changer.
Options:
- Moonroof: $1,000
- Premium Package: $3,200
- Sport Package: $1,850
- Navigation Package: $2,200
- Technology Package: $1,150
- Performance Tire & Wheel Package: $650
- Rear Spoiler: $550
- 4-Wheel Active Steer package: $1,300
- Wood interior trim: $450
The base model has no options, so to step up, you’ll want to upgrade to the Journey or Sport models.
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually rather disappointed in the G37. I’d rather just pick up a used G35 Coupe. Maybe if they designed it like the original Coupe Concept and had some better options I’d be much more into it, but based on what I’m seeing, Infiniti just isn’t isn’t cutting it this year.
