Bugatti Veyron Pegaso Edition

Bugatti Veyron Pegaso Edition

For when you have to stand out from the “regular” $1.2 Million Bugatti Veyrons, comes the Veyron Pegaso Edition. Reportedly owned by a Russian oil baron who lives in Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, the only seven-star hotel in the world, the owner is said to have tuned the car to a ridiculous 1200 horsepower, up from the regular Bugatti’s mere 1001.

From what I understand, the lower the number of your license plate, the more important you are. This guy has a 1. Vanity plate or not, this dude has way too much money. For reference, you could buy seven Ferrari F430s for the same price as a standard Bugatti Veyron, and still have plenty of money left over. That still wasn’t good enough for this guy.

Ahhh…the pleasures and advantages of wealth. While I do have a low opinion of this guy’s extreme vanity and poor sense of color, I support his blatant waste of money. After all, when you’ve got that much dough, what purpose does it serve other than to be spent? The rich deserve their fun, and if they’ve got money, why the hell not spend it?

On second thought, after going back to the article, I change my mind. I would applaud him, if only he didn’t get rich off the dirty business of oil. Jacking up the prices and forcing the economic situations of countries to go off balance for money seems like a really crappy thing to do. But they do it anyway, seeing as we, the consumers, let them.
