Lexus really needs new designers, the IS from the side looks like the 3 series and the LS looks like a 7 series. And it seems that the Lexus Antenna fin is from BMW… I doubt this thing is anything near an M3 killer, but I'll reserve my judgment until after I drive the thing; tough the stats are impressive on paper.

[...] 2007 Chicago Auto Show Disappointments While the 2007 Chicago Auto Show was altogether a great time (see Part 1 and Part 2 of my reviews,) there were a few things that I was disappointed about. Just like every year, there were cars that I was hoping to see and weren’t there, but of course there were some surprises that made up for the shortcomings. Here are some of the things that I wish were at the show but weren’t: [...]

[...] Over at Automoblog, Egon visited the 2007 Chicago Auto Show and he’s got his thoughts here and here. It’s cool to see the choices made by manufacturers as to what cars they’ll show at Toronto & Chicago, when the shows are so close together. We got the McLaren SLR 722, while Chicago got the Camaro convertible. We’ll get to see the real thing sooner though, as it’s being built just down the road. Bring on the PT units!
