Quite stylish. Honda’s senior vice president in America, John Mendel, said: “The CoupĂ© demonstrates the styling direction for the upcoming, eighth-generation Accord. The car will set a new benchmark for safety, efficiency, performance, refinement and style.” Keep reading…

As well as revealing the styling of the fresh model, the show star has a new ultra-efficient V6 engine using Honda’s next-generation Variable Cylinder Management technology.

Safety is also paramount. Every variant features Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE), which is designed to boost front-end crash protection. While the current Accord is sold only as a saloon and estate in the UK, no decision has been made about the Coupé coming here when the MkVIII arrives in 2008.
