I2B Wildcat Concept vs. Ferrari, Lamborghini

There seem to be quite a few different wild supercar concepts coming out recently. The new Bulgarian design firm I2B just unleashed their own, and are currently looking for investors.

The Wildcat is set to compete with the Ferrari F430 and Lamborghini Gallardo by way of a 460 horsepower V8 pulling 2600 lbs. Of course the car is still in the brainstorming stage, and they are asking for opinions on the I2B website. From the opinions I’ve seen so far, about 40% love it, and 60% thinks it needs a lot of work. It does seem to resemble the Koenigsegg and a few other recent concepts, but they have the right idea. They also have another concept on their website that looks a lot like the Koenigsegg. Another picture after the jump.

Will it be a good competitor for Ferrari and Lamborghini? Performance-wise, maybe. But don’t look for it to take over the Italian brands any time soon.

I think it should have at least 850bhp and it looks good on the outside but the proformance, well, it’s like a summer day without the sun.

Amazing what the mind can do when it yokes the imagination and sets out to work. I like the idea, but the shape needs some work. Namely, the structure of the middle, as it looks like a person with a skinny waist but huge hips. Performance wise, it needs more if it’s going to take on Lamborghini and Ferrari on their turf.
