Nissan Confirms Production of 350Z GT-S

Back when I originally reported on the 350Z GT-S it wasn’t for sure whether or not the car would be produced. Nissan has confirmed that the GT-S will be produced in limited numbers. The output will be increased from 300 hp to 382 by use of a supercharger and will reduce the 0 to 60 time from 5.8 seconds to 4.8. Also, unlike most cars fitted with a supercharger, this one should have a switch which allows you to disable it.
Left Lane News expects the GT-S to cost around $40,000 USD, based on the fact that there will be a 50% price jump between the base model and GT-S in the UK when it goes on sale there later this year. Based on this information, the GT-S upgrade will cost about $13,000. For a supercharger and slightly modified front end? I really hope they have something else in mind because for that price, I would rather pick up a $7,000 twin-turbo kit and boost the output to around 450 or 500 hp.

God, that's an awesome car! I just love the 350z, though I agree with you about the price/performance…
looks like a mitsui eclipse
Yeah I like the redesign but 13k for 82HP? I think not I'd much rather pick up 13k worth of performance parts and put them on the base model and pick up 250-300HP
BUT CAN YOU SUSTAIN 250BHP RELIABLY AND AT LOW MAINTENANCE AND STILL KEEP THE NISSAN WARRANTY. AND GUARANTEE NO ENGINE BLOWOUT… AND MAKE THE RIDE AND HANDLING BETTER THAN NISSAN OWN EXPERT ENGINEERS? i THINK NOT…
Wrong, the eclipse looks like the 350z
Yes, but the 2g Eclipses were the trendsetter of all things fast, bubbly, wide and big-butted.
Are you forgeting about the 300zx or the z teams car designs
wrong the 350Z does not look any thing like the eclipse. maybe the eclipse owners wish there cars did look like the Z. I think they should have came out with a 350Z TT
i own a 350z turbo…a single turbo turbo netics…i love the high rpm boost cuz i dont car about low end…its plenty fast off the line and breaks my neck when i change gears…but the good thing about this…because its a trim model…its has forced induction…and will keep its value when it depreciates…unlike my 350z-T…the value never went up when i turbod it
350z's pretty much own every car ever. Especially the Eclipse…Thats a disgrace to even say it remotely resembles a Eclipse…
